If he was traded to Atlanta someone would have leaked it who is a bigger source than some clown who stalkes people on Facebook
-
hell yeah Im pumped to see Ericsson play, especially when he gets that lazer off on the powerplay. Get better Lids

I have to say when the USA Ducks beat Team Iceland and Gordon Bombey got his revenge on Wolf "The Dentist" Stanson

after Lilja gave up the game tying goal against the ducks when he fed Selanne a beautiful pass to beat dom, I said s*** great pass by Lilja too bad it was to the wrong ******* team. The happiest day of my life is when the pain train switches tracks and goes elsewhere. Time to bring up Ericsson. I did that in NHL 08 and have never been happier.

also fights happen like they do in hockey, but when they happen watch out because unlike hockey these guys fight on their feet, and dont lose their balance as much as they do on skates. Especially with rivals fights happen pretty common. Colorado has a team that plays at the Pepsi center. The league is expanding, and hopefully more people get into the league.

Indoor lacrosse is just like hockey, a fight is a 5 minute major. Games can get up to 20 goals sometimes. They have an over and back rule like in basketball. Same penalties apply in lacrosse that apply in hockey. They have illegal picks like in basketball. I love hockey but will always go see indoor lacrosse because its way cheaper. The wings play at the Wachovia center. For 8 home games(because its a 16 game season) I pay 33 dollars a game in in section 111 row 2 right on the glass. They are in talks with Mike Illich about getting another team in Detroit, back in 1991 they had the Turbos. So it looks like in 09 there might be another NLL team in Detroit.

Im not gonna put Rafalski in the same sentence as Lilja. Rafalski has made some mistakes but when Lilja skates his feet seem to be stuck in concrete. For the past few seasons I really supported Lilja but enough is enough.

Ericsson will be on the roster next year if Lebda is traded. Which I hope not because Lebda is still young and has amazing speed for a d man. Personally Ericsson should have gotten a roster spot this year, couldnt do any worse than Lilja has been the past week

What do you think the problem is for our current slump?
RainingBlood replied to Lady in REd's topic in General
how can you blame osgood. The 1st goal ok he left the rebound there on the door step and Radulov put it in. But Rafalski let Erat slide right in and was left wide open for a goal, and dumont was left open when Arnott fed him wiht a pass. -
all I know is Rafalski has been beaten badly in 2 games for 2 goals. God the same topic came up last year and looked what happened. 2 wins away from the stanley cup finals. I wont sit here and push the red button till the redwings are facing elimanation in the playoffs(if that happens.) Teams go through slumps if you expect the wings just to roll every game your crazy.

haha downey is great but here is his best fight I know its been posted a million times but godamn is this funny

I would love fedorov to come back, on all my hockey jersey's I wear 91. I have 4 fedorov jersey's. But until that day happens when I read he has officially been traded to detroit I wont get my hopes up. But damn a pp of Fedorov Datsyuk and zetterberg would be sick.
-
how many stanley cup's has clarke won as a gm. He is an idiot who is a bad judge of talent, and the philly fans praise him for some ungodly reason.
-
I wasted good dvr spot for this s***.

One thing that Fedorov has is his ability to play defense is someone goes down especially during a playoff run. I really feel when Schneider went down that if they had a guy like Fedorov who could play defense instead of calling up Quincey, they would have had a better shot against the ducks IMO.

After Dom retires after this season, as long as Osgood plays well this team will keep rolling. Also to go along with the Isles and Blues statement, personally I dont think he felt comftorable there, and he feels back at home in Detroit. Plus the pressure to perform after dominating in the 98 playoffs might have been too much for him.

Which active player will have his jersey retired?
RainingBlood replied to timothy1997's topic in General
why wouldnt he after his 3 year extension ends he would have played for detroit for 17 years. He may have been a career 3rd liner but he was essential in Detroits back to back cup runs. Not just that he has been a stable horse for years on the team. I think just the 17 years in its own makes him worthy enough to get it hung, but if not maybe the redwings could give the respect by not letting anyone wear the number and make it unofficially officially retired then. -

I can see Draper getting his number raised when he retires. -
haha Foreberg is seeming like Kenny Lofton in that commercial.

Its probably on you tube but when Probert fought Mcsourley at the joe, the fight lasted allmost 2 minutes after it was over and the refs had em tied up, it looked like Probert patted Mcsourley on the head kinda like a good fight jesture.
-
umm he coached the Kings to the cup finals in 93. But where does he get that Rafalski is better offensively. As a passer yeah, but a goal scoring Defenseman he is not. Defensively I put Rafalski in the top 10 in defenseive defenseman. Schneider might crack maybe the top 15. I just have no idea where Melrose get's these ideas.

This team is the same team who was 2 wins away from the Finals, besides the loss of Bertuzzi 3 goals and 4 assists in the playoffs and was a -2 and was virtually invisible. Schneider regular season had 11 goals and 41 assists, playoffs he had 2 goals 4 assists and practically played all of the playoffs. Errr Lang 19 goals and 33 assists and playoffs 2 goals 6 assists. Now Rafalski as the addition 8 goals 47 assists. So if Brian Burke thinks that Bertuzzi is going to cure the loss of Selanne and Schneider will cure the loss of Niedermayer, he is sadly mistaken. I think the Ducks too a big step back, and I think they showed yesterday. The Redwings will be just fine without Bertuzzi, and will win the Central Division hands down.

If Detroit did that to Fedorov shame on them seriously. He was an essential part of the 3 cup runs and if anyone dosent think that than you are sorly mistaken. 2 Fans need to stop booing Fedorov anytime he get's the puck, seriously he moved on end it at that. Also if Fedorov would to become a free agent next season and he wanted to test the market why not give him a 1 year or 2 year deal. I think a 1 year deal worth 1 mill wont kill or a 2 year for 2 million wont kill but honestly the way Fedorov sounded in that interview, he rather play for Colorado than Detroit.

Markov is asking around the salary of 4.5 and 5 mill a year. Good bye have fun playing in Russia
