yeah but Joe had nothing to work with, not saying he is god like but its a good move by the Sharks.
-
This was his second year in the playoffs so how can he be called a chronic underachiever, the start of his career he was playing in the pit in Boston.
-
If you dont live in canada NHL.com is streaming the tsn feed.
-
1st signing the wings make is a 3 year deal worth 2 mill a year to Lindros( its gonna happen)

I wonder when the Preds move if Crisp and that other old fart will be out of a job.

Rumor: Blue Jackets may buy out Fedorov's contract
RainingBlood replied to HockeyCrazy3033's topic in General
Yeah but take it into consideration that maybe Fedorov wasnt playing with a lot of passion and wasnt motovated playing with a powerhouse like Colombus . Put him back in Detroit we will see how fast he get's motovated, plus its a chance for his number to go into the rafters when he retires. Personally its a way for him to right the wrong. -
Ken Daniels may be considered for Hockey Night in Canada job
RainingBlood replied to PRStoetzer's topic in General
Ken would prolly still do Redwings telecasts, and do HNIC when the Redwings have an offnight. Its the same thing Jim Jackson(The Flyers tv pbp announcer) did for Versus last year when they were OLN. Ken wouldnt leave FSND for any money in the world unless they drop him all together and bring another guy in with Mickey which wont happen. -
this guy must be smoking something. Just give more leway to guys like Crosby to cherry pick since 2 line offsides is gone.
-
Personally on a second or third line he would fit right in.
-
Fedorov would be a great fit in 2008. Hell if they had Fedorov in the playoff run loosing Schneider would have hurt soo bad because Fedorov can play defense, and has a rocket of a slap shot. Kozzie is another one who would fit great on a line with Filppula. They are on the cusp of another championship, they just need the missing pieces of the puzzle.

I would like to see a 3rd alternate jersey though I always liked the black practice jerseys. The old and the new The old The new
-
well his salary comes off the books leaving a lil more cap room for the offseason.
-
He will be back, but if the Wings have a huge offseason and make a serious push for the cup like they did in 01-02, and still no results then they might make a decision, but until then he stays. In 2 years he led the team to 108-35-21, and just missing a 2nd straight presidents trophy by 1 point. Thats pretty damn impressive.

If the price is right id take another stab at Shanny, and I know this might be laughted at, I did thinking about it but do u think Detroit barring they dont resign Bertuzzi, that they take a 1 year stab at Lindros.
-
the contract had a lot to do with it. He got the money and he needed to prove he was worth it.
-
At this point id jump through hoops to see Fedorov back. He really stepped it up near the end of the regular season, and Kozlov was 1 of the reason why Atlanta made the playoffs. Personally I dont want to see the team get older but hell Win it now save the bs for later. What a reunion that would be #91 back in the winged wheel but what number would Kozlov wear( saying the wings actually make a push for him.) Also stat wise sounds good Kozlov had 28 goals and 52 assists, and Fedorov had 18 goals and 24 assists. But I would rather see Fedorov here than Lang.

There is no reason for an excuse. They knew about Kronwall before they playoffs even started, 2nd they new about Schneider after game 5 of the sharks series. Zetterberg seems fine to me, this team did not get up when they needed to get up. There are no excuses, Detroit made mistakes and Anaheim took advantage of them. Thats the sign of a better team. -

well it was a fun season. Too bad the Wings didnt play like their back was against the wall. -
sometimes this team makes me physically ill. How can 1 team be soo outplayed and win. I got it be there at the right place at the right time. Going 0-7 on the powerplay is bulls***. Schneids is missed back there and when he got injured their powerplay was greatly effected. Only hope I have is Detroit plays with balls to the wall.

The magic is all but gone with them. It was a fun ride watching them all the way into may. But the Redwings out played them and look at the result. Blame Lilja all you want, but this game should have never went to OT. It was a bad play to try and get it out of the zone, and it hit lidstrom's stick. The only hope I have is this is a 2002 moment and facing elimanation like they did in Colorado.
