If Hossa dosent resign a few guys I wouldnt mind the Wings takin a look at Brain Gionta- guy can dish the puck Mike Cammalleri- Nice season with 39 goals plus he is a ceter, cant hurt to have another guy also taking faceoffs Marian Gaborik- Prolly wont make the 6.5 he made wiht Minnesota since he has had injury probs but still a hell of a player Mike Comrie- nice skater good hands and another guy who is good at faceoffs Chris Neil- not a scorer but guy is tough as s***. Nice 4th line addition Sedin twins- Cant have both but if you want a scorer Daniel, you want the play maker Henrik That's pretty much the pick of the litter in this years free agent pool. If no Hossa all would get less money than Hossa except maybe Cammalleri who had a great year with Calgary.

Its not a means to discredit his offensive production. But A guy like Datsyuk who is a top 5 forward in the league should have more than 8 goals and 8 assists in 18 games. Once again this year he dissapeared. he had 1 goal and 8 assists in 16 games played

1st of Bowmeester wants too much money and second off philly has him on their radar. Knowing they are going to have to release half their roster to get him. The problem with the Redwings wasn't defense as much as they just collectively had a bad season. I would still take this defense core over any in the league.

I would definately trade Lilja if they can. Right now he has post concussion syndrom. My best if the headaches last the offseason his career is over. My fear is Lilja pulls a hatcher sits on his ass and collectes his 1.5 million dollar contract. Kopecky has proven nothing and Samuelsson is a mood point right now. Hudler is too shady of a player as is Filppula. Play good for a few games and dissapear like a fart in the wind. Draper is 38 and can still win faceoffs but that's it. That's the problem he has had before last year. He was a bust in the playoffs. They gave him the big contract extension and had a great playoffs last year. s*** this year he went back to 2006 when he had 0 goals and 3 assists in the 5 game debacle against the oilers, and 2007 when he only had 8 goals in 18 games.

Osgood gave up 2 terrible goals in game 7. The only one's who stepped up in the finals were Cleary Z, Helm, Abdelkader. The rest collectively sucked. So where might I ask is loosing the cup all Hossa's fault.
