So was at the game last night and all of a sudden there's some girl MC doing a contest. (she's not bad on the eyes either. Think her name was Jennifer or something.) But they still had a quiz and a prize. The new thing (other then the girl) was they honored a season ticket holder and gave him a ton of stuff. We thought it was funny that the prize packet was probably worth $300ish. This guy has been a season ticket holder since the 50's. He has spent A LOT of money on the wings, and they give him $300ish? It was nice and I hope they do more. But do you think this has to do with the PR guy they stole from Nashville? For those of you that have made the trip to Nashville do you remember them doing things like this??

I don't know what has been posted (didn't want to read the 8 pages) But was it me or were the Avs putting on a hitting show because they knew Downie wasn't playing? Also thought it was VERY cheap that they would go after Malts his first game back. I don't know how may double hits I saw on him. Looked like they were hitting his back. As for the post I did read (this page) People were doing a lot of judging on a game were we replaced two people from INJ and thought the team would be the same. It takes time for the lines to come together and it takes time for people to get back into game shape. JMO

Crosby = Gretzky = Over rated. Sorry folks Crosby hasn't done much to impress me. You hear about him all the time because he is the Chosen One to lead the NHL. Because he's Canadian. That's all. I think our 2 boys are way better. The reason they haven't been picked is because we're in the Western Division. No east coast (the hockey bed of the US) exposure. Many people assume the new Joe Louis Arena will be built behind Foxtown so the Ilitch-owned businesses can benefit from game-night foot traffic. But don't be so sure of that. I have talked to a number of people downtown who believe a closed housing project just off Grand River and the Lodge Freeway will be the site of the new arena. Why? Traffic from a Lodge location would spill over to the Motor City Casino, which Marian Ilitch co-owns. Thanks to whom ever fixed my title. As far as the people mover. I belong to a detroit city board and there's talk of some kind of transit that would include the other casinos as well as the Arts and Science area of detroit. It could be another People Mover and or street cars. There's a big push to have something come down woodward from Royal Oak as well as something from the West from Ann Arbor

Draper will play with Maltby, Homer will play with hank. Hartigan will be sent back down. This will probably make some People mad, (and it would be giving up the future) But you might see Kopckey and Meech traded for a more seasoned D man. Everyone is intitled to their opion on trades. However, stop wasting time on trades that will never happen. There are several players that have a no trade clause. Where the heck are you at???? Sparrow has at least 3 "Traumas" a day. Although we at the fire department call BS because they are just trying to boost numbers for their accreditation. So these small car accidents they make a big deal about. But we get the shooting and stabings once in a while. A good PI here and there. And like I said the usual Drunks and people that have to go to the ER because they sneezed three times instead of the usual two. You need to go to Detroit Recieving for a fun time. Never a dull moment there.

You guys are harsh. He dressed for 32 games last year and is skating again this year. So he hasn't been gone that long. Some of you wish we'd get tougher and here is a chance. Some of you even listed him as your fav moment for fighting. So why are you guys saying he's done. He's skating more than foreskin and oh if we had a chance to get him oh. Well ya know what. Yea, and when they do their ride alongs with us they always have a blast. (Most of the time) We had a guy blow his arm damn near off and the doc didn't want to help out. It was funny. we gave her to another crew after that.
