I know it takes time, but if you're too spoiled to work hard (ie in the minors) then you shouldn't be given a shot. He was sent to the minors in Russia, worked hard and made it back to the Super Ellite team. He must do that here too. Ellis has worked hard in the minors, through camp and now is having his shot.

ALLEN PARK -- For the second time in three games this season, the Detroit Lions have gotten an extension from the NFL to get a sellout for a home game in order to lift the blackout for local television. The NFL gave the Lions a 24-hour extension Thursday, with what a team official said was "several hundred" tickets unsold for Sunday's game against Tampa Bay at Ford Field. The tickets must be sold by 1 p.m. Friday to lift the blackout. The Lions also needed a 24-hour extension for the home opener against Minnesota. The regular limit is 72 hours before kickoff.
