don't worry. he's said it's the wings or retire. He's probably just waiting to see what's left in the till before he signs.
-
Deja Vu all over again???? I hope so... he should have talked to Federov about guys that leave here and go to the Ducks.
-
You guys are all wrong. The guy from KC buys the team for 190 mill. waits a year Nashville doesn't make the attendance requirment and is free to move. Then he moves it to Hamilton sells it to the canadian guy for 238 mill and retires to waste the profit.

Two questions for the Nashville people here. 1. Why has it taken the city 9 years to wake up. Now there's panic once someone wants to take it away. I've been to a game there. LOTS of Wing fans made the trip. Not sure how the other games go. So, why can't they support a team without being theaten? 2. What happens after next year?? Lets say you get to keep the team, people come to the games, business buy the tickets, but then what? Think the support will still be there after a year? We have the problem here. Corporates buy the good seats and never show. Makes the place look empty. Pissing the true fans off who want those seats. Are your business going to buy the same tickets the following year once the threat is gone?? I hope you guys can make something work, I do like going down there.

You guys got BACK the 1st round you sent them for forsberg. So lets see you sent a top deman and forward for Forsberg who may or may not be back. plus the guys in the oringinal deal. And of course, just like our guys never get inj, neither do yours.

Bob's next team.... Uh Joey um this is Bob.... Robert Lang,,,,, You used to coach me on the Red Wings...... No, Detroit Red Wings. I was just wondering if you still had the number to that beer league you played in?

Thanks for cleaning it up!

Why is he pissing off other owners??? Let's see overpay for a team drives my teams worth up, another candian team for a candian sport, how much does it cost to fly my team to centeral cananda rather then nashville. Bettmen wanted rivalry what better then the fight for the Toronto area. Move Nashville and Detroit to the east add KC and LV and the divisions are even again.

The IHL folded a couple years ago with teams leaving to the AHL were the teams HAVE to have a NHL team as a parent club. The smaller teams. Kalamazoo, Muskeegon, Flint and so forth came together to form the UHL or United Hockey League.

Sorry, but I think this is just as funny. http://www.canada.com/nationalpost/news/st...ac0&k=12576

Has he even put the clause in play?????? If so what's keeping him from telling his people only sell 13,500 tickets for most games, and the ones he know's will be big sell the place out. Therefore giving him th means to move. I know, I know, why would a business man not want to make money. Tax write off. Why do you think Mikey bought the tigers when they sucked, to offset the wings. So he loses money for a year then moves the team north. He's a CANADIAN business man, I'm sure he usually gets what he wants. But good luck, I like going to games in Nashville, no snow.

The vote is already in 523,000 fans watching game 1 and 446,000 fans watching game 2 in the US can't be wrong. Of course it's good for hockey. -
I doubt it's fixed, or Detroit would be in. 2007 Game one Rating 0.72 523,000 2002 Game One Rating 2.85 2,467,173 2007 Game one in LA area 1.7 95,000 2002 Game one in Det area 42.8 unknown amount Did I see an article calling LA hockeytown?????? http://espn.go.com/nhl/playoffs2002/s/2002/0606/1391788.html http://www.detnews.com/apps/pbcs.dll/artic...0458/1128/rss16

No, then who would Bert room with??? And what about all the doctors? you want to put them out of work too??? When he's healthy he's good, just unlucky. How many other of these inj have been in the NHL??
-
True, however Hamilton is closer to Detroit then Nashville. I know, open a can of worms.
-
I think he was saying Toronto is the NHL's biggest market not NYC. Because NYC actually has 3 NYI, NYR, NJD.

OK, we all know that the crew that runs this sight is the best in sport fan history. Have to say looked at other sights and nothing comes close. It was updated after every win in the playoffs. SOOOO where in the heck is the count down clock to training camp???? http://www.redwingstrainingcamp.com/

Playoff first two rounds best of 5 More home and home games. Video Replay of and Injury to player to see if penalty needed. If you're in the Eastern Time Zone you're in the Eastern Conf.

Your arena holds 17500 give or take but that is what I read. Lets just hope the new owner doesn't figure out if he comps 3501 tickets a game he will be able to move the team. It's not like he needs the money and does need time to build an arena. My wife and I like going to Nashville for games, so I hope you stay. Good luck on getting players to sign.

MO Cheese is a person not a menu order. Refer to The Knitting Lady as team mom And don't forget Orange Hat Guy

I thought she was just showing her love for the WINGS

Sorry bud, money talks. And there's always a way out. Just ask Malkin. And the support is probably gone too. But who knows, may be the guy will keep the team there.

Was at the game today and found this amusing. The guy behind us was calling him the lazy-boy lounger!
