Well, I ws a major Sens fan and I kept getting dissapointed with their early play-off exits so I decided I wanted to be a fan of a different team. It was the '03 season (Wings coming off their 02 win) and they were such a strong team with a lot of grit. They were such a power house team so I thought, the Wings are the team for me and my Uncle is a MAJOR Wings fan who influenced me to cheer for them when I said I was through with the Sens. I told everyone that I was now a Wings fan (and was kicked out of my house....jk jk ) and then for Christmas my Uncle got me a Wings hat and t-shirt. Then a year later with much more Wings memrobillia I saved up 120$ and bought a Vintage striped Wings jeresey. I've been a die hard fan ever since. I've only seen the Wings play live once against the Sens and I was just so excited. I hope I will one day get to see them play in Detroit, the experiance would be awsome. I am also dying to go to Hockeytown Authentics. Go Wings!

WOOOO, WINGS PLAY TONIGHT!

This is a tough one. We lost a bit of leadership with Sevie and Shanny leaving but with that, it opened up spaces for the rookies Filps and Hudler. We added some much needed grit with Bertuzzi and Lilja stepped up a bit near the end of the year (better late than never). We added a much needed scorer and 2nd liner with Calder. Zetterberg had an amazing season even though it was cut short and Datsyuk picked up the slack and finnished the season very well. I find that the team gelled a little more this year and really started playing as a team.

This Mr. Sandrowsky is obviously not a true fan. Even if he doesn't like Bertuzzi atleast cheer on the rest of the team. But we already have enough fans, who cares if we lost one crazy fan. What did this guy hope to accomplish though by talking with Holland? Free Tickets? Like what does he want Holland to do, Have Bert Benched or released??? Good for Holland though . The Bert trade added some much needed grit to this Wings team.
