He is a really great goalie but Montreal has a knack to ruining goalies. ie: Roy, Theodore, Hackett(???), and probably now Huet and Halak. -

The Wings have A LOT to prove to the hockey fans out there. I guess 3 cups in 10 years doesn't satisfy these fans. But, Zetterberg had a great season (for the games he played) and Datsyuk just signed a 7 year 46.9 million dollar contract which better have lit a fire under his @$$. The Wings have the ability to go far but do they have the motivation and drive ???? -

that would be my guess. I don't think Sackic will retire soon, he's been playing really great and he is still high on the points list.

I like that idea. Because there have been too many "inconclusive" goal judge calls and IMO some were clearly in (*cough* Cleary's shoot-out shot on Bacaushua) . A system like that would ensure that a goal was either in or out for sure, which could make or brake a game.
