I heard this a while back that when Avery was still a King (right before he was traded) that Avery and Shawn Thorton got into it when they were working out and Avery kicked a medicine ball at Thorton, hitting him in the hand and breaking it? Is there any truth to this ? Did he really break Thorton's hand and was there more to the story ????

Neil just gave Armstrong a little bump and they had a little chat, I don't think they were talking about the weather though
-
nope! I am a Sens fan second and went to the second game yesterday. Go Sens! PWN those Pens!
-
Neil is an awsome power forward and a really tough guy. He is a player that can really change a game with a big hit, a fight, or a goal. And why do people think that just because some one hits Crosby or touches him that it is a cheap shot or "running" him. . He shouldn't get any special treatment, hes not retarded (or is he jk jk jk).

Patrick Eaves from the Sens was just taken out on a stretcher. He was coming around the net and Colby Armstrong lined him up perfectly and hit Eaves right in the jaw with thre sohulder (clean hit). Eaves didn't even see it coming and he practicaly got KO'd and fell down really awkwardly. He was then taken out on a stretcher as McAmmond faught Talbot after they got into a little scrum after the hit (even though they are non-fighters the fight had loads of hard punches and Talbot hit McAmmond with like 10 hard punches and then McAmmond hit Talbot with like 5 hard punches knocking Talbot flat on his a$$.) Crazy series though! I wouldn't be surprised if Neil and Armstrong drop the gloves. EDIT: They just diagnosed Eaves with a concusion.

I guess when he played in LA he felt they had no chance to do anything. Then a change of scenery caused him to focus and gave him a shot at the cup. Now hes playing with very skilled players and he has people like Shanny and Jagr to tell him to tone it down. He was also LA's enforcer but now Orr and sometimes Shanny and others are not afraid to fight, giving him more of a chance to show off some skill.

We should of capitalized on those 50 first period powerplays .
-
Wings win it in a close one 3-2 and Calgary is more alive in this game. Zetterberg, Datsyuk, and Flipp Husalieus (?), and Langkow go wings!

Who here on LGW would have thought he'd still be on the team ?

Lilja and Bert will take care of Phaneuf.

Did Trotz throw Hartnell into a pool of sharks?

Hartnell gets destroyed by Fisch after Fischer returned from knee surgery after Hartnell hit him from behind -
Can you imagine if they went to fight and Lilja knocked him(iggy) out one shot? That would be intense, lol.
-
no duobt lol. But I'd respect Lilja more if he had the courage to fight Phaneuf.
