Hopefully Lang won't want to come back. I like making Lang jokes, and the whole support Lang thing was fun in the playoffs, but really now. Lang brings very little to this team, barring his two clutch goals, he's lazy (surprise I said that?!) and the fact that we already have an assload of centers is enough for me not to want him back. Filppula can easily take his spot on the second line.

Yashin blows. He's become increasingly worse over the years, and it sickens me watching him sometimes. No heart, no desire. Nothing. I cannot believe he was ever a team captain.

There probably is no truth to these rumors, since Neidermayer is only 33. Unless he has some nagging injury no one knows about, which is highly unlikely, he'll be coming back.

Morozov is staying in Russia. Unless, that is, he is majorly overpaid to come over here. Look for Toronto to try and do that.

Cullen is basically saying Nashville should not re-sign anyone and blow the season to keep the fans away. I think that the fans will see through this, if it does happen, and still go anyways though. I mean, it would be pretty obvious if they let all of their big name players get away.

Kozlov would have made no difference in the Anaheim series. If Zetterberg, who by the way blows Kozlov out of the water, couldn't score on Giguere, what makes you think Kozlov would have? Giguere was, once again, the hot goalie of the playoffs. There's no stopping it. Heatley and Spezza both struggled against him too, and they are also both far better than Kozlov. So please, let's stop kidding ourselves here and say Kozlov would have been the difference maker, because he really wouldn't have been.

Cambridge is smaller than Edmonton. That wouldn't work for a team at all.

Winnipeg, for the 100 millionth time, cannot support an NHL team. There isn't enough corperate support, and the MTS Centre is too small of an arena anyways. The only reason the Kings are losing fans is because of the many years of mis-managment they've been through. They haven't made the playoffs since 2002, and just when they were about to do it last year, they collapsed down the stretch and missed again. Combine with the fact that the Sharks and Ducks have been more successful as of late, and people will begin to jump on these teams bandwagons (most notably the Ducks, since I don't know a whole lot of Kings fans becoming Sharks fans). If the Kings ever become good again, they'll go back. The purists will anyways.

I'm just mad about it because I hate the way the new jerseys are. Change is fine, but form fitting? I'm sorry, but I just don't care for that. But, whatever. We're veering off topic here.

Isn't he the one making the decision how the final version of the jersey's will look though? As I understand it, he was the one who was all for the change.

Give me a break. There are other issues Bettman can be focusing on, and instead, he chooses to change the style of jerseys. Why are you actually supporting him? Besides that, I hate the way the new jerseys. Just my opinion, but I think they suck.

Exactly. Of all issues there are to be addressed, from the TV contract, to ridiculous ticket prices for s***ty teams like Toronto and Chicago, to the increased clutching and grabbing just like the old NHL, he picks new jerseys to be the answer to all the problems. What a joke.

Completely overhyped. Unless the game is 0-0 going into the final minutes of the 3rd period, most teams aren't rattled by the fact that they are behind 1-0 early. It makes no difference.

There are a lot more Kings fans than Ducks fans. If the Kings would have won, there would have been more people to show up.

I play on a beer league team during the summer, but we hardly play at all. Most of us are busy doing other things, so we mostly just wait until fall to play any actual games.

Heh, yeah that part was pretty weird. I think it was planned though. Kinda like when Bob Barker came on and destroyed the old set back last summer, which I guess was an excuse to build the new one.
