    Congrats Ducks

Add Washington DC to that list, and I think you'll be a good choice for the next NHL commish.

    SCF Game 5 (6/6): Anaheim 6, Senators 2

Oh come on now is right! You just like Anaheim better because they fight more. Hehe, I agree. They do have more young players then Carolina. Staal is still miles ahead of them all, but he's only one person. Anaheim does get the benefit of the doubt.

    Congrats Ducks

Pronger and Perry can f*** themselves up the ass. As for the rest of the team, Congrats Ducks. Good job on a hard fought playoffs.

No doubt. That was as bad as Sammy in a shootout. Ugh. f*** this. *turns TV off*

Freep: Hasek decision to come by Wed.

YES! Great news! Dom is still a great goalie, and this will save us from having to overpay for Giguere, or rush Howard in. Oh please, I really hope he does come back. We need him.

    Yashin Bought Out

That doesn't change a thing. He is still lazy, and he's still a cancer. Even if he did come in for cheap, I'd still hate him. I'm sure the majority of Islanders fans would too, even if he did have a cheaper contract.

Staal is better than all 3 of those guys. We'll talke when one of them puts up 100 points in only his 2nd season in the league. Cam Ward and Andrew Ladd also have promising futures. And while some guys, like Brind'Amour and Whitney are old, they are still dominant players in the league. They have just as bright of future as Anaheim. And they are also a much classier team.

Umm, doesn't Carolina also have considerable young talent?

    SCF Game 5 (6/6): Anaheim 6, Senators 2

Exactly. Like Carolina, I expect them to miss the playoffs. Or, they'll be like Tampa, and just barely make it with an 8th place finish, then be ousted in about 4 or 5 games. Justice will be served. Unfourtantly, it won't come until next season.

    Yashin Bought Out

Yashin is not getting trashed too much. The guy is so useless. Honestly, the league would be better off without him even here. He would never fit into Babcocks system anyways. Yashin wouldn't backcheck if he had a gun to his head, and despite his size, is one of the softest players in the league. Even the thought of signing Yashin leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Any Islanders fan will agree with me too.

    JFJ Does It Again

Come on now. You know very well that with JFJ at the helm that the Leafs will continue to sign mundane, over the hill free agents, setting an NHL record for 9th place finishes. They'll never be good enough to make the playoffs, but never bad enough to get a 1st overall, or even a decent 1st round pick in general. Next up: Ladislav Nagy.

    SCF Game 5 (6/6): Anaheim 6, Senators 2

I know. It's such f-ing bulls*** that this is happening. Hopefully it all evens out next year, by having Chris Pronger have his neck broken, and the Ducks ultimately missing the playoffs. Oh, what a nice, positive thought that is.

    JFJ Does It Again

2 million a year for a guy that is more injury prone than Kronwall. Man alive. I feel bad for the Leafs. As a fellow Original 6 team, I'd rather have them be successful, then say, the Anaheim Ducks or Nashville Predators. But, it looks like that won't happen for a while.

    SCF Game 5 (6/6): Anaheim 6, Senators 2

Ottawa sucks. Their playing horrible. Well, I'm going to call the score now. Ducks will win 10-0, with Pronger and Perry each scoring 4 more goals, and the Ducks will win the Cup. So, without furter adieux, Go Ducks!

who is the gritty forward you want?

It depends if he wants to even play anymore. I'd love Wiemer on this team, as he's been one of my favorite players for a while now, and he's been a good, consistant checking line forward on all the teams he's played for. Definitly a nice option to consider. The ideal choice would be Hartnell. He can score, hit, fight, and add grit to the lineup. Pick up him, and then maybe Wiemer or Aaron Asham, and this Red Wings team will have no problems with grit anymore. I like.

    should the wings trade kronwall

This was techincally his 3rd season in the NHL. His first 2, last year and 2003-2004, he was injured. This year he managed to play 68 games (I was wrong, it was still less then 70), and was healthy for most of the season. His play still didn't impress me that much at all, even when he was healthy. But, whatever. I'm willing to give him one more season. But after 4 years in the Wings system, if he still is injured like this, and continues to be slow developing, then I just assume say forget him already. Most prospects like him usually are ready by their 3rd season to be full time players. If he get's hurt again next season, he'll be going into his 5th season, and still not have lived up to his potential.

    Yashin Bought Out

If it came down to Fedorov or Yashin, I'd definitly take Fedorov. I can't stand Yashin, and never, under any circumstance, want to see him a part of this team.

    should the wings trade kronwall

He played over 70 games this season. Isn't that a good enough chance?

Samsonov should be a Red Wing

Wow, nice job of being an *******. Yes, the intergrity does mean something to me, but I don't know how bringing in Hartnell will make the whole thing come crashing down. For God sakes, we brought in Bertuzzi, and he's not exactly a fine gent in his own right. All right, since you seem to know so much, who do suggest we get? Please, I'd like to know. My guess is you're one of the many who believe Slave Kozlov will come in and help, even though we have about 5 basic clones of him on this team already. You're also anti-Smyth, if I can remember. In fact, I have yet to see you make one suggestion of who the team should bring in. So I'd like to hear it now, since you seem to know so much about everything.

who should Detroit target the most in free agency?

That might just happen. Roenick has wanted play for the Wings for a while now, and as we all know, him and Chelios are good friends. Problem is, he's not all that effective anymore, and we really don't have anywhere to put him. Maybe send Samulesson packing or something. I admit, I would actually like to see Roenick here, because he's always been of my favorite players. Whether he'd still be very effective, and be very happy playing on the fourth line, remains to be seen though. That's if the Wings even want him.

Draper is angry..and angry is good!

I'm sure he is pissed. I'm still pissed about it. The Wings were easily the best team in the playoffs this year, far none. They were playing like I've never seen them do it before. I really thought this would be the Wings year. Yet, for some reason, the Anaheim cocksuckers were the lucky team and went on. You know, it's just not fair. With Pronger and Brian Burke on that team, it just isn't. Watching them win the Cup will be too much for my eyes to bear. This is why I probably won't watch the game tonight. It all comes down to Datsyuk's penalty in Game 5. That never should have happened. f***in' bulls***. If that wouldn't have happened, the Wings would have held on to win, I know they would have. Lilja never would have been given the goathorns, and we'd be kicking Ottawas ass right now in the SCF. Yet, because of that stupid call, which was not a penalty at all, we're sitting at home complaining about this. It sickens me. It sickens me because this should have been the year the Wings won it all. Not Anaheim. Anaheim sucks ass, and their full of cheap shots. Ugh.

    Yashin Bought Out

Well it's about damn time. I thought they were never going to cut the cord with Yashin. They should have done this back in 2003-2004. Yashin is horrible. He is probably the most un-motivated player in the league. If you honestly can't find any motivation, while playing under Ted Nolan of all people, then he should just retire. He needs to go back to Russia, NOW. I really felt bad for Isles fans, who have had to put up with his lazy no show ass for so long now. It looks like that organization is finally making some strides towards winning again. Nothing close to their dynasty years of the 1980's, but at least they'll be Cup contenders now. And yes, having Yashin makes the difference. With him gone, they'll actually have someone who can lead the team, which Yashin can't do. Also: Anyone who suggests the Wings pick him is f-ing crazy. You're absolutly nuts. He is an un-motivated, overpaid, under conditioned slob. He has so much potential, but choses not to do anything with it. I will hate Ken Holland for life if he dares sign Yashin. Even if for cheap, I still do not want him anywhere near the Wings.
