Oh Lou. Pronger is the only guy on Anaheim that I truly don't like. Not just because he's a good player, but because he's an ass. Even you must admit his elbow on McCammond was really uncalled for. McCammond took the shot 5 seconds before it even happened.

It is, isn't it? Ok, so my source is crap. Hey, it's still more credible then Eklund.
-
Yes I am. And it's working. By the way, I think I seen a guy wearing a Red Wings shirt in the stands. If my eyes don't decieve me, I did. That's so cool if there was. The long reach of the Winged Wheel.
-
Brad May with the penalty. Woo...
-
It probably is Prongers doing. Getzlaf isn't like that. f*** you Pronger. Burn in hell.
-
Getzlaf with a check from behind? Wow, I thought that was more of Prongers suiting. Oh yeah, Pronger, you suck dick. Go to hell you piece of s***.

Pronger should be killed. ******* loser. I hope McCammond is ok. No place in hockey for s*** like that.
-
Various people have told me that.
-
Ooohh, he better come back. Otherwise we're screwed next year. I know he wants to come back, but it's his God dame wife that's a problem. She is the one who made him retire before. I hope she doesn't interfere, yet again.
-
Shanahan is the only guy that comes to mind, and even if he wanted to come back, I'd say forget it. It's time to move on. Players like that aren't quite as common anymore. Times are a changing.

Montoya's name has been linked to the Wings since the start of last season. Mostly just rainy day stuff from Eklund. Nothing to put too much into at this point.
-
Damn it. Off the post.
-
Give Pronger the goat horns on that one.
-
Ok dude, we get the point. Stop broadcasting it to the rest of us.
-
Boo... Ok, time for some counter-analogy here. Go Ducks!
-
Exactly. Thelen, if he gets his head straight, could be a good player. Who only knows. Maybe he'll end up like Cleary and turn himself around here with the Wings. You never know.
-
That wasn't a diss at all. In fact, like Lou said, it's actually a compliment that they actually knew what the NHL even was!

Kronwall bottles this whole thing up. Face it, he really does. He has all the tools to be a great defenseman, but he's just weak. Just plain weak. Luck doesn't have anything to do with it. Kronwall needs to get stronger, or else he's going to become a vegetable like Eric Lindros. I'm going to give him one more year. If he gets hurt, again, next year though, that's it. It's time to cut the cord already if it happens again.

3 NHL seasons, and all of them have featured major injuries. Noticing a pattern here?
-
A top 20 first round pick, going unsigned. Hmm... Despite his problems, I'd like to see the Wings make a go at him. Unless he really is that big of a problem.

If the Griffins lose too many players, then they'll just sign a bunch of stop-gap, former NHL'ers who have been toiling in the minors or in Europe for the last few years. Guys like Blake Sloan, Mike Watt, and a few other former Griffins might be persuaded to come back if their situation in Europe doesn't pan out. If not them, then they'll surely find some Josh Langfeld or Matt Hussey type players to take the places of any who move on. The Wings have also (no surprise) signed a bunch of new Swedish players just these past few weeks. They signed about 3 or 4, so that should take up a few spots down there. The Griffins will be fine. They've always managed before. There are enough borderline NHL/AHL players that need a place to play, without wanting to leave their families to play in Europe, so they Griffins should have some options to consider.

Woo! I'd love to see McGrattan play. One of my favorite fighters in the league. Murray needs to give him a chance. Chris Neil is really the only other guy on Ottawa that can handle the Ducks with their physical play. McGrattan would be a welcome addition on the Sens lineup.
-
Heh, he's sticking around. Good to here. Wesley is still a good player. I'm thinking Hedican will retire though. His hip has been bad for quite a number of years now.

The Bolts were a mediocre team for long spurts during the season. If not for Montreal and Toronto going in even longer bad spurts, Tampa would have been out of the playoffs. The majority of the team is great, with guys like Vinny, St. Louis, and Dan Boyle, who are all spectacular players. But the goaltending is just plain awful. Denis sucks, and Holmquivst (sp?) is only a backup. They really had no chance of winning that series, even if it was against offensively challanged New Jersey.
