...and yet I did not know that. I don't know anything about these guys until they come over here and play. It's hard to really watch them or see them play when their in Sweden.
-
Great GDT aflac. Well, tonights the night. Do or die. The Wings have got to get it done, here and now. I have faith in them every step of the way. Let's Go Red Wings!!!!!!!!!!
-
If Anaheim makes it to the finals over Detroit, Ottawa will be my team. Considering that won't happen though, I'll always stick with my Red Wings.
-
...Zing!

Ahaha! I love Pronger trade jokes. Probably still bitter that the Ducks traded him to the Rags before he retired.
-
You wanna know why it's similar? Because you guys all blew it by starting off on the wrong foot. Coming in here with your ridiculous trolling and lame ass DUKZ IN THREE3!!!!!!!!!!11!!!!!!!!!!111!!!!!!!!!1 is enough to make us not welcome you guys. Look back during the San Jose series. Just look. We were all great to the Sharks fans because they were great people that actually knew what they were talking about. You guys? Wow, because of the forum rules I'll dumb it down a bit here and say this: Ducks fans are probably the worst fans I've ever seen come here. Even Blues fan are better. If not for certain restrictions that hold me back, I would have let fly on you guys like Mussolini from the balcony long ago. Don't try to turn the tables here calling us classless and what not. You guys all started it. Just look back to the San Jose. When we are treated with respect, you'll be treated with respect back. But when you come in here and act like assholes, the end result is what you've seen already.

The comment that I quoted. You did the up triangle, making me think it was directed at me. But since you have no idea what I'm talking about, I'll assume it wasn't.

*jumps on* Thanks for the supply of Lang avatars Offsides. Go Lang!
-
What? Why? Larsson was drafted way down in the scraps in some 3rd tier Swedish league, and is unproven. In fact, I really don't know anything about the guy other then he was a late round pick. Liv has gotten an AHL season under his belt, and has looked pretty good at times. I hope he comes back soon, as again, I have higher hopes for him over Howard.
-
You wait and see. Little Huds will be so pissed off about his lack of ice time, this'll be the perfect revenge for him on Babcock.
-
Even if he was injured, I'd be very, very suprised if Hudler played. Sometimes I think Hudler is sleeping with Babcocks wife. What other possible reason is it that Hudler probably couldn't even buy himself a roster spot?

Lies. All lies. YOU KNOW NOTHING OF MY PERSONAL LIFE

The sarcasm just didn't flow with it somehow for me. Ok then, all is good.

How exactly did Giguere achieve this feat you all may ask? Simple! He puts on 25 pounds every offseason, and wears pads the size of North Dakota. You can't possibly lose with that training schedule.

Unless this is some kind of joke, I have to plead insanity on this. Why would you honestly go out of your way to hate a player on the Wings? Really, why? The only reason most people didn't like Lilja before was that he played bad and showed little to no effort when he played. He completely changed that around, and is playing great. And yet, you want to find an excuse to still hate him? I don't get it. edited for grammar
-
Whatever. No, I agree. I don't exactly want to get rid of Calder for an unproven player like Grigorenko though. That's really what I'm getting at. I'd like Grigs to play with the Wings, but at the expense of someone else. I was thinking more along the lines of just trading Hudler, since it's pretty clear he won't make it here. Give Grigs his spot.

Game 6 against Edmonton was like 20 seconds, not one.

I like Eva's proposal of moving the Capitals out of DC. That city has never supported the team, nor do they have any actual fans at all. I cannot believe how lame it is when you actually watch a Capitals game on TV. There are empty seats everywhere, and the building is so dead that it makes the ACC during a Leafs game actually look exciting. Sometimes I thought it's because the Capitals haven't made the playoffs in 4 years and have been on the bottom since then, but even before that, the Capitals had very little support. The fact that DC itself is not really that far south is what really suprises me. With the also mentioned fact that the Nationals, who blow, are getting more media attention then the Capitals is all the more sign that it's time to go. I'll be 90% of the people in DC don't even know who Ovechkin is.

He really didn't deserve what happened to him last night. Lilja has just been awesome in these playoffs. He's been one of the most reliable defenseman on the team for the Wings. It's just total unjustice that this happened to him. But, there is nothing you can do. That's just the way the bounces go. Them's the breaks I guess. Heres to Lilja coming out and playing a great Game 6 tomorrow. Go Lilja!

Wow. This is grade "A" stupidity at it's finest. Anaheim is an EXPANSION team. For God sakes, the Winnipeg Jets moved to Phoenix and became the Coyotes. How do you not know this? For someone coming on here claiming he's a hockey fan and then saying this is a joke. And furthermore, the Jets were not a very sucessfull team in Winnipeg. They never went to a Cup final, and even in the days of Dale Hawerchuk (who you probably have never heard of) they were still a mediocre team. If you knew anything, anything at all about hockey, you would know this. But no, because you are nothing more then a bandwagoning loser that insists on trolling, you don't.

I'd much rather keep Calder then Grigorenko. We have enough pure goal scorers. Calder, when healthy, adds grit and energy to the lineup. This Morozov thing is kinda old now. Whether or not the Wings really want to fork over 3.5 million for a guy who's NHL offensive production has topped out of around 20 goals is unlikely. What I do admit is that Morozov scored a ton of points in the Russian Super League, which is well known for it's more defensive style of hockey. Plus Morozov did score a lot in half the games played in the NHL, because the Russian Super League plays less games. The question here is whether or not he's finally starting to develop into the player that Pittsburgh had thought he would be when they took him in the first round back in 1995. He still has to show he can be a big scorer in the NHL.

This is where your trolling behavior has made you wrong once again. The Wings didn't win the Presidents Trophy. The Buffalo Sabres did. Get the hell out of here. Why in the flying f*** do you care about what we think? You are a Ducks fan. You don't even pay attention to the media attention of this team. My way of looking at it is this: the Wings weren't supposed to win anything according to most hockey pundants. First they were supposed to not make the playoffs. Then Calgary would eliminate us. Then San Jose would eliminate us. None of that happened. If the Wings get knocked out, yes I'll be disappointed, but they still exceeded expectations far from what most thought.

Man alive. Everyone is going to beat this thing into the ground until it's been buried so far down it'll be with Jimmy Hoffa. Seriously, the seat thing is such a wash. You try paying $135 a ticket for a nosebleed seat. And that's again only for the cheapseats. Lower Bowls seats are around $300 a piece! May I ask how much a ticket for a Ducks playoff game cost? My guess is much less then even $100 for the cheapest of seats.

That would make our trade deadline seem totally worthless then. And who says Kenny isn't an active GM? Regardless, I've began to see what everyone is talking about with Hudler. He is small, and really, has a good chance of being hurt because of his size. Kopecky doesn't play that much, and when he does, has been better than I orginally thought he would be. I really don't have a problem if Babcock keeps him in. If he doesn't, then Calder will go in first. Couple this with the fact that Babcock seems to have it in for Hudler, so again, expect to see Kopecky either stay in the lineup or Calder put back in.
