I don't think he's a superstar. For that matter, he has been somewhat disappointing at times during these playoffs. But still though, I don't think he is the worst player in the world and hope he gets killed like you do. Also for that matter, I have not once, under my tenure at these forums, actually compliment a Wing. Your username suggests you like Draper, but I highly doubt it, since you spend more time saying that Bertuzzi sucks ass and calling us all blind homers then actually watching the Wings.

Why should he get credit? He's a lucky fat ass that takes up so much of the net that he can make saves without actually moving. If he was to lose 10 pounds, use legal pads, and not have luck that's on par with winning the lottery, the Wings would light him up.

First off, welcome to LGW. Second, good post. I agree with everything you say. While Lilja was the one who had the turnover, he shouldn't be the only one getting the blame. It should be the entire team. The best thing to do is move on and forget about tonight. Easier said than done, I know, but still. Hopefully work goes by fast for me tomorrow so I can get home and do something to help me forget about todays game. Usually when I'm work after a bad loss it's hard to forget, so I hope it goes by fast.

That means nothing. Who would have thought Mikeal Samulesson would have scored 2 goals for us the game we eliminated the Ducks? His production in the past (or lack of if you look at it that way) is irrelivent right now. What matters is if he does it now, and he could very well score a hat trick.

Honestly, are the ******* comments like this really necessary? On topic, Giguere is by far the best player on the Ducks. Put an average goaltender in net for the Ducks, and this series would definitly be in the Wings favor.

The PP was fine when this series started. All of sudden it's gone in the s***ter though, and I really don't know why.

No they won't. The Sens have only done this good because of the teams they've played so far. The Pens and Devils aren't built for the playoffs, and Buffalo absolutly blowed dick against the Sens, so they haven't had to face an actual real opponent yet. We'll see what happens if the Wings make it to the finals. I think the Wings can beat them. If the Ducks make it, then I'll root for Ottawa and give Anaheim no chance at all. Not because I think Ottawa is that much better, but because I hate Anaheim and do not, under any cirucmstance, want to see them win the Cup.

This is far from the refs fault. The people we should be blaming here are the Wings themselves. They are the ones who failed to capitlize on, what was it, about 5 or 6 penalties with 3 of them being all in a row, and one of them was a 5-3. The players are the ones at fault, not the refs.

I got one. The whole idea of "dump and chase" is more effective if you both things. Just dumping and not chasing is basically giving the puck away. And please, for the love of God, keep the ******* puck in the zone on the PP. The defense is awful when it comes to actually keeping the puck in the opposing players zone for a consistant basis on the PP.

From hero to zero. That's the story of Andreas Lilja in todays game. Sigh. I have very little optimism. I'm not going to go out of my way to be a downer, but I tell you this, I don't have much confidence after todays game. Very disappointing. edit: I should reiterate that I'm not totally writing the Wings off, as I'd be a jerkoff if I was. The Wings have shown me things during these playoffs that I haven't seen in a long time, and have fought all sorts of adversity. I still do believe they can fight through this too.
