Wonderful. Sounds like we got ourselves a whole new group of assholes now. Some of these posts makes me think we're dealing with Blues fans. "Wings suck, Wings are old, Wings are *******, Wings don't hit, Wings don't fight, Wings are ***". This is just some of the stuff I'm already seeing. Very similar to what Blues fans say. With the exception of tangstoiggy and a couple of 10 post trolls, the Flames fans were the best I've ever seen. They came on here and had normal discussions without being cocky, arrogant pricks. The Sharks fans, with the exception of one or two people, were also good people. I can already tell by this topic though, that Ducks fans will be like pulling teeth trying to deal with. Woo.

I haven't seen a single Wings fan here be cocky. Ducks fans on the other hand...

Gomez would be a hell of a pickup for the second line. He did have an off year this season, but last year he scored 33 goals, and this coming from a guy that's generally a playmaker. We should try and make a pitch at him. Other than that, I'd like to see the Wings add a little more grit. Someone like Brad Isbister up front, and sign Sarich for the blueline, and the Wings are set. Let's see what happens.

Hah, they had Islanders jerseys on too. Perhaps a future Clark Gillies? Don't rule it out.

Come on, seriously. Most of the Wings can at least handle the size of San Jose. Hudler is so small he'd get stepped on. I'll restate my thoughts again: Hudler would be no more effective than Samulesson. Unless he has someone to go out there and create space for him (no, not Bertuzzi, and that's a whole other subject in its own) he is relativly useless.

We must sound so pathetic to fans of other teams when they see stuff like this. My God, you guys want suspensions every time a player of the opposing team dares to even look at a Wings player.

I'd like to see Andrew Peters and Brian McGratten dress for their respective teams just for the hell of it. Hey, it's more fights! Though that won't happen, we might still see some good action here. I'm sure the Sabres haven't forgiven Neil on his blindside hit on Drury, so this should be interesting.

Well now, 40 years without a Cup isn't quite as bad as 98 years without a World Series Title. Let's hold off on comments like those for a few decades until it's a match. This is, of course, assuming the Cubs do eventually win the World Series again and the Leafs continue to suck for 58 more years.

We might as well just keep Hasek rather then bring in Belfour. I hate Belfour personally, so I guess that kind of effects my judgement, but still. Hasek had a good season this year, and I think if he wants to come back, just let him. Howard is not even a proven AHL goaltender. What makes you think he'll be any better in the NHL? Unless he turns out like Dan Cloutier, where he might look good with a good team in front of him, what's the use of bringing him up?

As far as fans go, I'd give Ottawa and Vancouver the nod over Toronto too. While the Leafs will always sell out, even until the end of time, the current fans who go are perhaps the most boring people you could ever imagine. I swear, theres more excitement at a Washington Capitals game then at the ACC, and that's pretty sad when you think about it.

Also better then Marc Denis (which I thought was a total joke that anyone actually suggested the Wings pick him up).
