What a finish! That was exiting!

Heh, did anyone watch the video with Rutuu swearing at a Habs player? He must have dropped the f-bomb about 3 or 4 times there.
-
Hmm, things are getting interesting. I likey!

The Rags are officially the cinderella team this year. No question. Buffalo is done.

Yes it is all about stats with me. It's hard for me to sit here and call those two offensive defenseman when they have only 6 goals respectivily between the two of them. Your replacement plan is poorly thought of. Getting rid of Schneider does nothing to help, at all. I can already tell you Kronwall will get hurt again next year, just like every year, and Lebda is not an offensive defenseman. So who is it exactly that will be replacing Schneider? By the way, Kronwall, when healthy this year, didn't do dick on the PP. When Schneider was hurt, Kronwall was given plenty of chances on the PP, and do anything with it. His one goal this year, against the New York Islanders, deflected off an Islanders player in front of the net. That's about it. Tell me, what else is it that he did that makes you speak so highly of him? His AHL numbers? Well guess what, Darryl Bootland scored 27 goals in the AHL and I don't see you begging to have him called up. edited for grammar

I could create a Robert Lang is lazy and he sucksâ„¢ thread if you want.

I can't believe how well the Rags have played this series. Does removing Aaron Ward and bringing in Sean Avery really make that big of a difference? He got clipped in the face by the stick of Dainus Zubrus.
-
You humor me. Since when are Kronwall and Lebda offensive defenseman? They have a grand total of 6 goals combined between the two of them, and not a single one of those was on the PP. Definitly. Tampa will be strained to try and keep him because of the Cap and a decreased payroll by ownership, so there is a good possibility the Wings could land him.
-
Personally I like the signing. Maltby makes almost next to nothing (by NHL standards anyways), and he'll always be one of my favorite Red Wings. Good deal in my book.
-
How many Bertuzzi complaint threads has this been now? 1000? Ok, exaggerated a little there, but still. This subject is old now, so stop beating a dead horse until it's head caves in. Move on people.
-
Brad Norton? Oh wait, he isn't actually considered part of the team.
-
Trade him for what? He has been playing good, but he's not going to garner much. Maybe for a defenseman of his own caliber. Jason Woolley perhaps? By the way, Chelios would not tolerate being a spare defenseman, which is how you have him lined up on your depth chart there. He's still a great player anyways.

You asked, and I deliver. Lang is lazy and he sucksâ„¢

Quincey is no replacement for Schneider. If we lose Schneider, then we only have one offensive defenseman, and the PP would suffer greatly. Unless Markov isn't resigned, and someone is moved, Quincey won't get a spot next year because there are too many defenesman on the Wings. If everyone is healthy, the Wings have 8 defenseman, and there is not much room for Quincey in that mix.

This is basically the story of his life. Every year has been a rough year for him since the Wings drafted him (with the excpetion of the 2004-2005 season in the AHL when he put up decent numbers).
-
If and when he comes back. I haven't heard anything on his status lately.

"That's Predators hockey, Bubba!"

*gasp* You've figured out my plan!

Before you go off calling us a bunch of iditos, trying actually watching him first. Did you not notice Kronwalls constant givaways and turnovers he'd make almost every game? Being physical doesn't make up for sucking in pretty much every other aspect in the game. Case and Point: Darryl Bootland.
-
Yes I do. Once we lost Kronwall, Lilja stepped up his play big time, far beyond what Kronwall ever did this season. Even Quincey has outperformed Kronwall from what he's played this year. That said, I really hope under no circumstance does Babcock put Kronwall back in the lineup if he can play. He's a lieability.

Lang is lazy and he sucksâ„¢ Oh wait, this is someone else now...

I find this thread quite comical. You guys get your feelings hurt way to easily when your favorite player is questioned. And again, restating what I said, Dastyuk is not playing bad. He is having a pretty good playoff series this year. But with the money he makes now, I expect more. And so do half a million other Wings fans that aren't Datsyuk slappies.

This is utter bulls***. I live in Michigan, so I'm fine, but I think this is horrible for Wings fans who don't live in Michigan. Even though it doesn't effect me, I still plan to write a letter to them. After all, like someone said, they wouldn't do this for the NFL or NBA. Why should they do it to the NHL?
