How ironic would that be, what with Howard and Mac being former teamates.

I was just approved a few minutes ago, so you should be now too.

The Wikipedia Admins are pretty lame. As HOH pointed out a while back, they find the need for an individual article for every single type of Pokemon that exists, yet anything that has to do with the Wings, like an article for LetsGoWings somebody made before, must be deleted. I'll help you if you want. Post in this topic or PM me for what you'd like.

Heh, good to hear. Did you use the name Offsides there too?

Somebody needs to follow the everyday life of Darryl Bootland. Though I don't think Lou is much of a Bootland fan to begin with. He prefers Joey Teteranko.

Convince me why I shouldn't be dreading this series....

Quick! I shall alert the boys at LetsGoBlues you said this just to piss them off! -
I joined thefeeder.com forums under the name "McGillis_06". Thought it'd be fun. Just waiting for my account to be approved for posting. By the way, how many others joined up? Just curious so I know who you are in case you used any different usernames like I did.

This is where the mute button really comes in handy.

Holy crap. Everyone one of them picks Ottawa to win their series. I hope their right too. I hate the Devils, and would love to see them eliminated.

He used to be great in Chicago. Obviously something happened, probably the DUI, that ruined him in San Jose. No matter. Bring him here for a change of scenery. I know how Bell plays, and I'd still take him despite his bad point totals. He's physical and he fights, and that's something that the Wings could always use more of. He has also put up good offensive numbers in Chicago too, so it shows he can be a versitile player. Despite the season he's had in San Jose, I'd still take him here.

Yes, Fischer is still around the team alot, even though he is no longer playing due to said heart condition. He hasn't officially retired, but it's pretty much a given that he will.

I'll suck it up and watch the whole game. Though I warn you, I am usually in a bad mood from being tired the next day!

And let's not forget guys... The Northwest division has the Edmonton Oilers. Aren't those games also considered fluff points too? Of course, we really have no room to talk. The Oilers did take 3 of 4 games in the series against us. That was before the Smyth trade though. -
Damn! How could I forget him? Well obviously. The Pain Train could take those guys down in one punch. CHOOCHOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If Bertuzzi continues to take shape, like he's been, then put him out against that line. He can beat around Bernier and Goc, and is big enough to handle Clowe. As long as he can keep up, he should be fine.
-
Ack. I really don't care if you call him it or not. As long as it's not too weird... like calling Lilja "lils". Now that is just too weird.

What if I were to say you are really going out on a limb with Anaheim? Tell me. If you could choose between George Parros or Shawn Thornton, who would you take?
-
He has been lately. Joe Pavelski has outplayed him, from what I've heard. Ron Wilson takes advantage of having a guy like Bell on his team. I would drool over the thought of Bell in a Red Wings jersey. We'd have a guy who can fight and do other things, and not be a hinder to the team like Norton was.
-
I believe that was on purpose.

I'm getting feelings that Mark Bell may be an insert on those lines, give or take that someone like Pavelski will be out. He's physical, and givin the sterotyping that goes around with the Wings these days, Ron Wilson thinks he might get away with something here. Of course, this is only if he does it. I have no proof he plans to do this at all. I make the assumption though, since Bell is a physical player, and according to the hockey "experts", will hurt the Wings. Now for the lines: The top line will of Thornton - Cheechoo - Michalek will definitly be countered with Lidstrom, and either the Wings top line, or the Cleary - Draper - Maltby line. Whichever line is not used to shut that line down will be used to shut the Marleau line down.

A monkey who works for TSN. Maggie picks the Canadian teams every year. Ya know, I almost think her and Grapes got a direct line of thinking or something. They both never pick the Wings. Fancy that!
