He was mentioned. Suprised?

One thing that really angers me is the price of parking now. I went to see a game this year back in November vs. Nashville and the parking was like $15! That is wayyyyyyyy to expensive. I hate bashing Mike Illitch, because of what all he has done for this team, but if he doesn't even consider lowering the prices of some of this stuff then I don't know what to do. The tickets, parking, programs, food, drinks, beer, merchandise. It's all way overpriced, and he's nuts if he thinks people will continue to pay all this money with the economic state Michigan is in.

Neither goalie is all that great. Hedberg has been a starter before, many moons ago in Pittsburgh. But since then he's been primaraly a backup. Lehtonen is really young, and last year his development was slowed because of a groin injury. He'll probably be a really good goalie in a couple of years.

Hannan has long hair doesn't he? If he still does, he looks nothing like Maltby.
-
I know. This makes me wonder if he'll be anymore of an impact than Maltby. Kopecky was somewhat physical, but he really didn't do anything that stood out when I watched. He is about the same in most aspects as Maltby, except he dosen't kill penalties. Still an upgrade over Lang though.

I doubt that'll happen. As many have mentioned before, Big Joe does not bring it to the playoffs. If anyone is going to score for San Jose, it'll be Patrick Marleau. He is awesome in the playoffs.

Shut up. Seriously. First of all, Chelios is 45 years old. He hasn't made a dirty play in almost 10 years. Calling him dirty now is just a joke. Maybe back in the 80's with his battles with Brian Propp, but he is certainly not a dirty player at this stage in his career. Anyone who says he is hasn't seen a true dirty player, ala Hartnell or Tootoo. As for this Bertuzzi thing... Once again someone feels the need to bring up the Steve Moore incident. Has he done anything cheap before that? Huh? How about after that? You probably didn't even know who Bertuzzi is before the Steve Moore incident. For the Wings being a bunch of soft, European *******, they are sure kicking the Flames ass right now. Check your facts before you speak. By the way, if you didn't know, the Wings manhandled the Preds in the regular season, going 6-1-1. Their physical play sure didn't help their cause at all. Again, check your facts buddy. You have again set me off with another peice of gold posting. Why is it that the other Flames fans can come on here and be intelligent and yet you cannot? Answer that for me please. edited for grammar

Isles fans throwing trash on the ice. I would too. Bulls*** call by Leroux.
-
Considering Lang is the ultimate Wings whipping boy, I'm sure most let it go. Besides, with Lang there are so many good jokes involved! The Bertuzzi thing was just plain trolling. This at least adds a twist of humor on the situation!

McGrath has gotten some pretty good scouting reviews around the league, saying that he has the potential to be a good second line goal scorer. His juniors numbers look great too, posting up a 114 points in only 67 games in 2005-2006 with Kitchener. The only concern I have is his currently weak point totals with GR this year. Only 14 points in 59 games. He's still young though, and has a lot of potential, so it's hard to judge him as of right now. Hopefully he can pick it up and return his game to his form he had in juniors.

Ugh. I hope the Wings go with Stefan Liv over Jimmy Howard. If Howard can't find a level of consistancy in the AHL, I shudder to think what he would actually be able to do in the NHL. By the way, Eklund has just given an e4 to Kiprusoff coming to the Wings in a trade involving Krys Kolanos and Brad Norton. This means it will never happen!

Here comes Buffalo. One goal should get them into it now. The Isles have lost said previous pressure. Now they are the ones looking flat.
-
Watching the Islanders - Sabres game. Islanders are pretty much dominating the whole game right now. The Sabres have gotten off a few shots, but they look pretty flat. Do I smell an upset? Hmm... (I hope I don't miss too much, all be it that 24 starts in like a half hour)

Is Lang back? Not from injury, but his vacation from actually playing hockey?
-
You show him! Funny enough, this guy put so many "hahas" in his post, it actually stretched the tables a little bit. Jeez, talk about overexaggerating.
-
That's too bad. I don't really follow ECHL hockey, but that sucks that you guys are losing your team. Hopefully in 2009 they come back better than ever. Good luck! Now I pose the question: Who will the Wings ECHL affiliate be now?
-
Did he ever play for the Tigers? If he did, maybe that's where he got his name from.
-
The Tennessean was where we got that pot of gold Rex Hudler. Honestly, where do they get Rex from Jiri anyways? Is there are Rex on the Titans or something?
-
Nothing new at all here with his comments. It's happened before. Don't half the hockey fans in the league want Todd Bertuzzi dead? My point exactly.
-
Gordie, you must understand that the fight lovers here generally support Tootoo, almost as much as the Nashville fans themselves. Your comments are falling on deaf ears.

No worries. The Pain Trainâ„¢ will take care of Captain Visor any day of the week.

People have actually said that? Wow. If people think Lidstrom is overpaid, just take a look at Alexei Yashin or Nikolai Khabibulin. Now these two are examples of overpaid players.

What a heated argument. Ya see, this is the straw that stirs the drink known as LGW! The Preds! By the way, if LGW was a drink, what kind would be? Pepsi? Fresca? Rob Reiners?

Brad Stuart is probably one of the dirtiest players I've seen in a while. The way he goes after peoples lower back when he cross checks is disgusting. At least Andrew Ference was a clean, solid hitter. I will always question the Flames for trading him away, since he was always so well liked.

Uh Oh! He said the dreaded "A" word! The crowd was still extremely loud in the game yesterday, even if it was a non-sellout. And in my opinion, I really didn't see a whole lot of empty seats. And these were lower bowl seats too, which are the more expensive/corperate seats anyways. The building looked pretty full to me.
