With the new managment team approaching, he'll probably be given about 2-3 seasons for improvement. If no improvment is made by then, with the Coyotes are still finishing last in the division and being the only NHL team to actually be losing money, then a change should seriously be considered. And that change will involve removing Gretzky as coach.

McCarty is a fossil. Considering it took 4 players to be scratched just so he could play again, he'll most likely be not playing for this series.

As I've said before, Illitch will never change ticket prices unless the Wings fall apart. Empty seats really mean nothing to him. Personally I'd almost like Nashville to win. We match up much better against Nashville than San Jose. I know most every person on LGW wants to see Nashville burn in hell right now, but seriously. If we play Nashville, that means we don't travel out west. And we're also playing a team that we match up better against, where as San Jose would be a very tough series. Think about it.

I sometimes question Leyland with the "experimenting" that he has done so far this year, such as Rodney being used as a closer, and some other little things. No matter, the Tigers still played an excellent game tonight. Great win!

I would say the Wings are the underdogs here rather than the Flames. The Wings may have the #1 overall seed, but almost nobody predicts them to win. Plus, the have to shake off the "puss" label they've garnerd. Really, the Wings are the underdogs. Standings don't mean s***.
