Please don't bring up last year. It still leaves a bad taste in my mouth, and I don't even want to think about something like that happening this year.
-
In a perfect world, I'd take the Phoenix Coyotes. Even if they were good, with Whine Gretzky behind the bench they'll never be successful. In reality, I'd take anyone but Calgary. I'd even take San Jose. I know San Jose has it in for us this season, but with the additions of Bert and Calder, not to mention Markov, Franzen, and Cleary, I feel we can match their toughness. Their goaltending is good, but if Zetterberg get's on his game, he can beat them.

I think you're being a tad unrealistic here. Or make that compleatly unrealistic. This is not the pre-lockout anymore. Back then teams like Detroit, New York Rangers, Philly, etc. could spend money like that and make those types of moves. In the NHL now, that is totally unlikely. And don't let Bacashihua's performance against us a couple of Saturdays ago fool you. He's really not that good. He could be, but isn't yet.

In some situations... ...but in Langs case, it isn't.
-
It's a different story though. Datsyuk and Savard were free agents at different times. And even if they were free agents at the same time, Holland still would have taken Datsyuk. He's not one of these GM's that's just going to cut players off just like that. You and I both know it.

I'm stunned. Unless their going for the 1999-2000 approach where they fired Robbie Ftorek before the playoffs and won the Cup, I can't believe they would do this. It must be a personal reason. It's not like the Devils have been bad or anything. They have 102 points. Is that not good enough or something?

Is Nashville not in the same division as us?

So you think that if Lang played more minutes he'd score more? Sorry, I just don't see that happening. He's been horrible all year long on the second line. And doesn't the second line average about 20 minutes a night anyways? I'm sorry, but I feel Lang is really overrated. He shows no effort when he plays at all, and acts like he doesn't want to be here.

I'm both exited and nervous at the same time. It's hard to tell which one is more LETS GO RED WINGS!!!!!!!!!!
-
He probably does. When he only sees about 15 or so shots a game, he tends to become "bored" in net, and that's when the craziness begins. His wandering has almost (and actually has) cost games we probably should have won (Hint: Last Feburary game against Edmonton). He seems to play much better when he's focused on stopping a lot of shots rather than doing nothing.

Congrats Wingslogo19! Great score! Another deadpan week for me. Jeez, I can't catch a break at all here. Stupid southeastern teams. They always lose when I pick them, and win when I don't. Oh well.

There are various ways to hide them. I envy the people who have the patience to do it though. That, and where they actually know a place where to buy an octopus.

Actually, I think he was like that in Washington. His point totals were so good because he was playing with guys like Jagr, Bondra, Nylander, Gonchar, etc. No offense to Calder and Hudler, but there is a production difference in these players. When Lang played with all those superstar players, he scored points mostly based off of their play, or something like that. I guess just playing with all-star talent just made him look good. What I'm basically implying here is that Lang is not a very good player, and we can all see that. He takes lazy penalties, and has been amid in scoring slumps all year. If he doesn't want to work, than tough s*** is all I have to say. It really frustrates me watching him anymore.
-
Datsyuk and Ovechkin probably don't even know each other. That, and their personalities are totally different. Ovechkin is a loud, superstar teenager. Datsyuk is a quiet, older guy who doesn't say much and is not quite as boisterous as Ovechkin. They are two totally different people.
-
Lang is lazy and needs other players to do work for him. Otherwise, he is pretty useless. ...that and he probably doesn't like Babcock.

Peter Forsberg *dodges tomatoes and shot all at same time*
-
You wouldn't be a fan if you didn't think this way.
-
Hey oh, I would have never predicted him to be a solid point producer. I've doubted he's had decent skill, but he's such an ass and never focuses on his game that this is why I'm so suprised. He is a good player though, I'll give him that. Like someone already mentioned though, that's really only when he's on his game and not being distracted.
-
Lewis is a pretty bad coach, but isn't Boston being a little hasty there? Of course, Jeremy Jacobs is a very unstable person, so I'm not suprised.

April fools!!!!!!! Almost had me goin' there.

Kronwall is important is some senses, but his givaways will surely not be missed. His hitting will be though. Let's just Pain Trainâ„¢ can step in and make up for the physical play that will be lost without Kronwall. He has been playing better lately, so he just might.
-
Personally I wouldn't go any higher then $1.29 for that.
-
Can't we just all agree to disagree? Or something of the like.
-
That is way overpriced. Anyone who pays $119 for that, even if they are rich, is crazy.

I feel the Presidents Trophy to not be important to me. It hasn't worked in our favour the past two years, with a first and second round defeat respectivly (oddly enough to those damn Alberta teams). I feel more comfortable at the #4 seed.
