Zing! I doubt he'll be back. A broken hip, or whatever it is, is just too serious to risk him coming back. Besides that, he'll will be out of shape and probably be really bad from being gone so long. If Lilja can handle himself and play decent like he has the past few games, it's really not a big loss. But still though, Kronwall is never going to be the franchise defenseman he was prejected to be with all these injuries.

No way. He is much to slow to handle a PK. He does a good job at blocking shots, but his slow speed really makes him a lieability on the PK.

As long as Lilja drops the gloves once or twice and isn't on the PK, I'm fine with him. He has been playing a little better as of late anyways. Kronwall, more than likely, will be done for the season. Don't count on him coming back in June if the Wings make it that far.

Considering Carolina has lost like 3 or 4 games in a row, that is very unlikely to happen.

Does anyone know if Brian Rolston is a free agent? If he was avalible, he would be a perfect second line center, and a huge upgrade over Lang. I'd also like to point out that he is not lazy and he doesn't suck!

This may surprise you, but the Blackhawks actually charge MORE money to their games than the Wings do. The ownership there is very, very bad. I don't know every price for every team, but I believe the Montreal Canadians are the most expensive team to go watch. Given the currency differences, it's still a lot. I know I had a list somewhere of the teams prices, I just can't find it.

If you haven't heard the bad news yet... Kenny Rogers out for 3 months Seriously, this is bad news in my opinion. He was clutch last year. If the Tigers find themselves in a World Series run again, I hope Kenny can return to form and play like he did last year, especially against Oakland. In other news if you haven't heard, Guillen signs 4 year extension. Decent signing, as Guillen is a good player. A little steep, but I'll take it.

Too much money.

Some think the Wings have too many numbers retired. 6 is nothing compared to Montreals 12. With the obvious exception of Yzerman, I was not alive during the period of time these guys played. But when I look back at the great careers they all had, what they meant to the Wings during those years, and all else considered, every one of those players deserves to have their number retired.

Suddenly I just realized a new contender... The New Jersey Devils Really now, there is already a team in Manhattan and Long Island. Jersey is so friggin' close to both of these places, so do they really need a team? They have a very small fan base, and the team is perhaps the most snooze worthy team you could ever imagine. Seriously, I have to keep an alarm clock out when I watch them because they almost put me to sleep. Without Broduer, they would suck ass anyways. They just don't have hardly anything that pleases myself or many other hockey fans. This probably explains why they have hardly any fans.

Personally I'd like to play the Phoenix Coyotes in the playoffs. ...but that's just me.

Welcome to LGW. Somehow your post hardly suprises me. There are a lot of stupid Wings fans, ask anyone here at this board. The degenerates you speak of are more than likely the bandwagon fans that are all for the Wings because they've been so good for the past few years. If the Wings were to slip, I don't think that kind of behavior would be quite as apparent (I could be wrong though, as I have before). Us Wings fans are not all that bad though. Just as not every Predators fan is a jerkoff. But, every fanbase does have a group of such people. It exists in every sport.

Samulesson probably and should be sat. Nothing against him or anything, but we have enough guys who play the exact same way. I'd also like to put something forward here: Kopecky has about as much of a chance to make the roster as Josh Langfeld scoring a hat trick. Please people. Kopecky hasn't played in so long, and judging by recent reports, he probably won't be cleared to play at all for the rest of this season. I just don't see him coming in after missing almost 4 months and make a real impact. Give the spot to Hudler or Flip.

I wasn't home to see the game. And whatever happened to blow a 3-0 nothing, I don't even want to know. Oh well. Ever so closer to that #4 seed.

Ok. I understand. I don't exactly have free money to spend to go to Nashville on a whim, but you do make a good point. It's hard to really judge an entire fanbase if you don't actually go the city and see any of the good fans. I've never actually been to Nashville before, so I can't say how it is down there. I gues I'll take your word for it for now.

Nashville and Edmonton. My reasons: Edmonton is such a small city, and the Oilers have such a hard time attracting free agents. And since MacTavish is a destroyer of talented players, they have very little room to develop talent through the draft. He'll never be fired, because him and Kevin Lowe are such good friends. And Nashville: I just plain don't like. Too many reasons to list.

They wouldn't try to bully us, because they have no one to do so. Maybe Robyn Regehr or Phaneuf but that would be about it. Most of the Flames behavior in the 2004 series came from two men in particular: Krzysztof Oliwa and Ville Niemenen. Now that neither of them are on the Flames anymore, they don't quite have that goonish type of play like they did that year. That being said though, I still don't want to play Calgary in the first round. If Kipper get's hot, look out.

The Wings really didn't "trap". Because a team plays defensivly doesn't mean they trap. I wonder how the Preds fans would hold up if they had to play New Jersey more often. My guess is they wouldn't.

Under the shadow of Niedermayer, I'd be suprised if Pronger is even a candidate for the Norris. This is mostly me saying this because I hate Chris Pronger and would like nothing more than to break his neck. With all that beside though, I would still be very suprised if he was in the race for the Norris. They will probably include one guy from the East in the runnings too, as it's very unlikely all the candidates would be from the same conference.
