I could get the ball rolling if you'd like. I can't say anything about Datsyuk, considering how good he's been. It's not like I hate him or anything, that's not the case at all, it's just the money situation. I keep getting this strong feeling that he will be set on a high tab, and will not be very willing to go down. That, and his agent is an ass. But that's a discussion for another day. Datsyuk has impressed me lately, being that he has basically carried this team on his back. Good job Datsyuk.

Losing Nilsson probably doesn't even bother the Islanders though. Nolan was never going to give him a chance. I mean, he called up Eric Boguniecki before Nilsson, and Boguniecki is in his 30's and has only played one decent season in his career. I really seen after that Nolan wasn't going to give Nilsson much of a shot. Really, in my opinion, they lose O'Marra and the draft pick. Nilsson was doing so well in the minors, yet didn't seem to want to play him at all.

Go Oilers! ...god I never thought I'd ever say that. Well, I did a few times this season when they played Nashville. To no avail did they win though.

All of a sudden Philly looks like they could be a decent team next year. I wouldn't go as far as to say "Cup contenders", but they definitly should finish higher than last place next season.

Unless Mike Dunham comes in and takes them to the promise land, the Ryan Smyth deal will be all for not.

That was such an awesome game. Great game by Hasek, Datsyuk, and the rest of the boys. Hey, even Lilja played pretty good, and not just for the fight! Sidenote on the fight: I really thought Lilja had the better of the punches. Although Moen did take him down, Lilja had 3 or 4 good shots on him, and I thought he got the nod in it. I give him credit, and actually thought he played a pretty good game too. Good job Lilja.

The SCF are all on NBC. As for the other three rounds, it will be on whatever local station that team has (in our case FSN Detroit), Versus, or CBC pending whether it's a Canadian team.

They first mentioned it when they honoured Tomas Steen last year. I really have no idea what it is either though. Congrats to Hawerchuk! Even though it is kinda weird seeing him honored by a team he never played for, but whatever. He deserves it, as he was a great player.

Being about 13 or 14 at the time, I loved seeing hockey fights (still do now of course). I knew something might happen in that game, but I never thought it would have went that far. That was a game to remember. I love watching the replays on the internet of the fights and McCartys OT goal to win it too. It was a hell of a game.

How is Osgood a better goalie now than he was in 1998? Or any of his other years here in Detroit?

I like this situation. It might give Samulesson some actual incentive to start playing harder, knowing he'll more than likely be sat. Still, I'd rather see Hudler and Flip in the lineup.
