Thoughts on Bertuzzi after first game as a Wing?
Kp-Wings replied to HockeyCrazy3033's topic in General
Well of course. How do you think CPrice ever got to be an admin over there? He hasn't made an actual intelligent post in his life. -
Thoughts on Bertuzzi after first game as a Wing?

Ok, why don't you pack up and head over to LetsGoBlues then? There you can bash Bertuzzi and the Wings, and be promoted to head admin because of it. -
LetsGoBlues is a f-ing joke for a website. The way they treat Wings fans is disgusting, especially CPrice, who is ironically an admin. You know, for Wings fans being such retards, at least were are respectful and decent to fans of other teams who post here, unlike the bastards at LetsGoBlues.

The hit was mildly bad, but it's not like he beheaded Lebda or anything. Now, if Lebda is seriously hurt and misses a bunch of games, which is turn will force me to watch Lilja, then I'd have to reconsider my opinion of course.

Please, be real. People come down on bad grammar being it's annoying, and very hard, to try and see your point when you post like that. Example: y helo i havz i kestion abot teh wigz!!!!!!!!!11 wo iz teh captan of teh winz?????!!!!!!11 i do noz no!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111onethreefivexDDDDDDDD Granted I exaggerated that a little, but it's the same concept. It's easier to get your point across and have a normal discussion when you use proper grammar and spelling, rather than make everyone sort through a pile of misspelled words trying to figure out what you said.

I know this would be a nice thing to instate, but really now. Babcock will not move Lang down below the second line. And for that matter I'd be very suprised if he kept Hudler on the second line after the injured players come back. Is it just me, or does Babcock have no faith in Hudler at all in shootouts? He doesn't select him to go for the second straight time, despite having a goal earlier in the game and being very good in shootouts.

I say ban the big ass shoulder and elbow pads players wear now. I know I wasn't alive during the Original Six era, but watching hockey in the early 90's as a kid I didn't remember quite so many injuries happening from players being hit in the face with an elbow pad that feels like a brick. They should just go back to wearing foam, or at least something softer. It would really reduce the amount of concussions sustained from checks to the head.

Is this youger, grittier player supposed to be Langfeld? What you're saying right now is not very sensible. Why scratch Samulesson now for Langfeld, who yes, is a worse player, when Samulesson will more than likely be the scratch come playoff time anyways? Once the playoffs start, and if everyone is healthy, there will be one extra player that will be scratched, whether it will Hudler, Filppula, or Samulesson. Langfeld has no place of being played in front of any of those three.

Yeah, and then put him back on the top line for about 3 shifts, then put Holmstrom back on the top line like originally started. The line juggeling that Babcock does really confuses me. How does he expect anyone to develop chemistry together if he's putting out 20 different line combinations in a single game?

Backes was cut on the hit, from being hit with Bertuzzi's stick. That is why he got a penalty. Whenever someone is bleeding, it is an automatic 4:00 penalty.
-
I think you probably hate about 80% of the players in the league, since almost everyone turns the back to avoid a hit. I generally don't agree with it either, since it's putting yourself in extreme danger.

There are about 5 different Preds fans who post here regularly. Thank god the ones who do are decent people who aren't dicks. Legionairre11 and Dave are pretty good members, and don't post pure crap like you might think. AndyPred is also not a Preds fan by the way, as he just said.

looked again

Small effect. I'd still watch the Wings just as much, and you all would agree with me that the Wings very rarely ever get into a fight, so it wouldn't really matter. I'd still watch other games a little bit, but some teams (like the Flyers) that I follow to watch the fighting I wouldn't watch as much. edit: Just because of this though, I would be extremly mad if they took fighting out of the game. Hockey would also be an extremly ugly and dirty sport, and I don't really get exited about someone jamming their stick up another guys ass because they can and don't have to worry about being fought.

I'm curious to know why so many members here are also members of LetsGoBlues. Clearly their all jackasses at that site, and go into troll mode once a Wings fans makes a post. I'm nuetral about the check by the way.

Already overstated for the one millionth time in the past few days. As for Samulesson, you replacement decisions are extremly hard pressed to be any better. Ellis is in the minors, Langfeld sucks, and Kopecky is injured. I admit Samulesson is not been playing overly great lately (his shootout attempt in the Columbus game is proof that), but if you're going to tell me Langfeld is any better than obviously you don't watch the Wings very much. Samulessons 12 goals in 26 points are a lot more to speak of then Langfelds 0 goals and a whopping 2 points.

I sure hope Lebda is back by the playoffs. I will cry if I have to see other teams getting numerous breakaways because Lilja is too slow to stop them.

One of the things that triggered the 1994-1995 lockout was the huge contract Ottawa threw at Daigle. Being that Daigle was also only a rookie made it that much worse. He almost got himself back to respectability with Minnesota in 2003-2004, but fell back to his same ways last year and is now playing in Europe. Reading past and even recent nterviews with Daigle showed that he had almost no or very little desire to play hockey. According to some sources, he wanted to become an actor, which is why he retired for a brief period after the 1999-2000 season to persue it. It didn't work out, so he attempted a comeback, and now he is gone from the NHL again.

So I assume all is a good mood in Toronto then?
-
I can't say too much about Ville now, considering he did go to the hospital to check on Lebda. Generally he should have been a little more careful with his check though.

Disappointed in the loss, but at least they shown an effort. Bertuzzi was a beast out there. I was so pumped when he hit Backes like that! Oh that was great. Hudler and Filppulas goals were good too, and the Wings generally played good after the 1st period. Sidenote: Jeff Woywitka totally ruined that fight. Markov and Cajanek were going to go at it, and Woywitkas *** ass comes in there and ruins it. Being a Wings fan I'll take all the fights I can get, and Woywitka really pissed me off. IMO if that fight would have happened Markov would have smoked Cajanek. Cajanek is a pretty small guy, and I really don't think he would have stood much of a chance.

Congrats Tim! Have a good time! I was late on my entry, so I missed my chance. Oh well. Edit: 1000 posts! YEAH!

Yep. If we would have won at least one of the last three games we would have clinched it by then.

Well if it isn't motorcitykid! What made you decide to make an alternate account for Bertuzzi and Holland bashing? -
I think if Boyd was drafted by a different team than maybe he would have been a star player like many had thought he would be. Of course, he could be living up to that potential this season! Eh, highly unlikely, but he is playing pretty good and is looking better than he has in a long time.
