I usually watch the King of Queens at 5:30. PTI is a mildly decent show, but I don't watch it on a regular basis. At this time of year all they ever talk about is Basketball, and except for the Pistons, I really don't follow any other teams. So it gives me no real reason to watch it.

If we got Chris Drury instead I don't think it will have been so bad.

Has he actually made it official? I know it was a serious injury, but a lot of reports have said that he may try and come back by the playoffs.

Yep, it's Hirsch. Schwab, to my knowledge, retired after the 2003-2004 season. As I look at some of the DEL rosters, Eduard Lewandowski would be perfect here. I know nothing about him since he never played in North America, but just look at that name! It's almost as good as Butenschon! Now, someone who I would really like here is Steve Guolla. And that would be our answer to the toughness problem!

I wonder if CenterIce will have it. Might be able to pick up the Devils feed anyways. I'm hoping Wozniewski is out tonight, so they'll put Belak in. Unless the Devils just don't play Janssen at all, something will probably happen.

I think Cleveland would be a great market for a team. Probably better off than Columbus. I say this because Columbus is such nothing city when you really look at it. There isn't all that much there. Plus Cleveland has a major sports team in every sport except the NHL. Columbus has the Jackets and that's it. I know the Jackets do get a decent draw fan wise, but I still think the team would serve better in Cleveland. Not to mention that the Drew Carey Show was one of my favorite shows when it was still on. It's almost impossible to find re-runs on anymore, since TBS doesn't show it as much. Still good though.

I would like to see Lang not be lazy and not suck! Seriously, in Langs case, I would like to see him not give the puck away. I would also like to see Draper not have rock hands around the net and score more. Other things might include Lilja playing decent for one or two games, Samulesson not being a puss, etc. I'll think of some more later. There's a handful of guys in the DEL I wouldn't mind. Todd Warriner per say!

Anything in the 2.5 to 2.7 range for Schneider is good enough for me. I like Schneider, and despite his defensive errors, I think he is a good defenseman we should keep for the right price. We don't really have any defenseman in GR that are bursting at the seems to play yet anyways (this includes Kindl for all of those who think he should immediatly become a regular). Again, for the right price, I would certainly welcom Schneider back.

Biloxi, Mississippi. Seriously though, I'd like to see maybe one more canadian team. It's hard to really pick a decent canadian city though, since most of the bigger ones are right next to Toronto or Ottawa. Most other citys just aren't big enough to support an NHL team. Maybe another team in Texas would work out too. Something like Houston might be a good decesion, since I heard they have a nice arena down there too.

Yep, I like Final Score too. At least they mention the NHL, and the analyst aren't a bunch of mindless droans like some of the ones on Sportscenter. It's funny too, considering what a debacle the NBA all-star game was in Vegas this year. But did that stop them? No. They still found more ways than one to talk about it. It gets really pathetic sometimes.

ESPN is horrible. With the lack of coverage they give hockey, I can't believe Barry and Bucci still have jobs. My god, they'd probably rather talk about a Knicks-Hornets game then the Stanley Cup Finals. It almost gets to the point of being rediculous of how much they ignore the NHL. I'm not asking for it to be talked about as much as the NFL, but please. They could try and show the highlights a little more than they do. I mean, there have 2-1 games this year in the NHL and Sportscenter won't even show all the goals. Yet in an NBA basketball they show every meaningless play imaginable. It's really stupid.

Lundqvist has been pretty bad for the most part this year. He has picked it up a little lately, but for the majority of the season he has been bad. It might just be the famous "sophmore slump", so we'll wait and see what the future holds for him.

I miss Vladdy. He was such a great player. He is such an inspiration though. While he doesn't have the abilitys he used to, it shows that strong people can fight through adversity. Happy Birthday Vladdy! Hope you have a good one!
