Oho! So the truth is revealed! Considering how much of a beef he has with everything Ken Holland does, it wouldn't suprise me if he was an underground Leafs fan. Or Canucks fan. Or fan of any other team. He just won't let this Bertuzzi thing go. Bertuzzi plays for the Wings now, so why does he keep at it?

I see them at least making it to the second round. They have so much firepower with Sid, Malkin, Recchi, and a handful of others. The only real flaws I see it the defense and goaltending right now, because the defense doesn't have much depth and Fluery hasn't been playing very good lately. If he can't break out of his slump, the Pens won't last long. They should make it out of the first round though, considering the amount of offense they have. I'd say second round as of right now.

The Wings didn't get rid of Fedorov, and they didn't want too either. They wanted to resign him. He left on his own game. And he sucks now too, so be it.

Should I have worded it differently then? I'm sorry, I just don't think Fedorov is going to win the game for them.

David Vyborny is a lot better than Fedorov. By the way, Vyborny is a +5. Fedorov is a -4.

Fedorov couldn't score on an empty net if he was standing right in front of it. Sorry, but I have to side with Crymson on this one. If the Blue Jackets do somehow win, it will have nothing to do with Fedorov.

Interestingly, he's trying to put the blame on Bob Goodenow. I have to say that they need to get rid of Saskin. Too many people (like Chelios) can't stand him and question him, so what good does it do to keep him around?

Oh man, what a dull game. I can hardly stay awake. No emotion at all by the Wings. Calder is the only one who I noticed that is playing a good game out there. He's working hard, and I really hope he scores a goal. Everyone else looks like their in a dream sequence. C'mon, start playing guys!

The Preds have more canadians than the Wings do. That, and the fact that the Wings have a lot of European players, whom the pure-bred canadians can't stand. It's all the same up here.

I was one of them. I thought he would bring a sense of toughness that the Wings surely needed, but after seeing that, I definitly don't want him now. What a jerk.

Good post. You are indeed correct. Simons finished. When you look at that video, it really looks a lot harder than what McSorley did to Brashear. I think Simon should get an even longer suspension. You just can't do things like that. Even if Hollweg is ok, that makes no difference in the matter. He should get a nice lengthy suspension for that.

The first round exit to San Jose in 1993-1994, or the incident in 1988. I was only about 5 years old when the incident in '88 happened, but I remember how mad my dad was when it happened. He was fuming for about 2 weeks. Same thing with the San Jose series in '94. I remember watching those though, and that was just an empty feeling watching that on TV. That game they lost was the one Ozzie cried in after it was over. It was a very bad time.

I don't think he actually dropped the gloves (god forbid if you're a Wing!). He and Brenden Morrow were taking runs at each other, but nothing really came of it. -

That would have been weird if Osgood would have fought someone against the Wings. That was a good video. I miss the days like that.
