Unfourtantly I will be busy tonight, so I can't watch the game. Just when I might see a fight too! I really doubt Bootland will put a good showing, but I still have hope for the guy. If he does good, and maybe wins a couple fights, he could bump Langfeld down the roster. Langfeld doesn't have to clear waivers either, making it all the more reason.

The irony in that is Todd Fedoruk wore the same exact cage earlier this season. I wouldn't take much context to what a Flyers fan says. They hate everyone. I don't know what is in the water in that city, but it really makes you wonder.

I don't understand why many people prefer to pay attention to matters at OTHER message boards. It confinds me. While I do agree that the comments, the ones about Lidstrom especially, amoung others, were really taken out of context, they weren't being posted here. Would you all prefer that these comments be posted there or here?

This topic makes no sense. Our trade deadline player (Bertuzzi) hasn't played a game for us yet, and hasn't played since October. And here some of us are saying what a waste Forsberg has been for the Preds when he has already played more games. Irony is gold, ain't in?

Lou, honestly. Langfeld is a lot worse than Hussey. Hussey may not be great, but he doesn't miss clear cut goals like Langfeld does. Langfeld has had so many chances to score, and hasn't. And I have seen Hussey have a few takeaways this year, something I don't think Langfeld has to his credit. I guess when you look at the situation Bootland is the best the solution. Bran Norton is horrible in all aspects, and he hasn't played much lately either. So really, Bootland is the only option. We'll just wait and see how he does.

That would be so one sided. And the side belongs to Tootoo. For his sake, if Bootland is going to fight, I hope he at least wins or at least does ok. The fights I've seen him in were pretty mediocre, so I'm very skeptical if he'll win any. Who knows, maybe he will. Very unlikely, but you never know.

Fischer didn't have a very long career with the Wings. And, to be honest, he wasn't a franchise defenseman. I liked the guy a lot for his physical play, but he made a lot of bone head givaways, especially in that Calgary series in 2004. When you look at the situation, I don't think Fischers number should go in the rafters. But I would feel better if the Wings chose not to let anyone use his #2 for a while, as respect for him.

I would be in somewhat favor of it if the Wings move into the East. But I will really feel bad for the fans of Pittsburgh of the Penguins move to KC, and win the Cup in their first year (like the Av's did when they left Quebec). Nobody will hardly watch in the regular season, but if they win in their first year I guarentee all the bandwagoners will come in full force. All we need is another team filled with bandwagon fans that, when the team is starting to slip just a little, nobody goes to watch anymore. Just look at the Av's. Since their not invinciable anymore, hardly anyone supports them.

I'm really not a huge fan of Langfeld. For one, he misses so many chances to score. His offensive numbers were actually ok with Ottawa in 2003-2004, considering he's primaraly a fourth line player. But he just hasn't got much here. And he doesn't bring that much else to the table either. For a man of his size, he should hit more or fight. But, he has been doing ok on that line of Matt Ellis and Matt Hussey so I'll wait and see what he does.

Yes, the Hawks lost Aucoin for the rest of the season midway last year. So they gave Lapointe the C and somebody else (can't remember, I think maybe Mark Bell) got the other A.

Holland shouldn't be #1, but #90 is just wrong. The Wings have been a great team for a long time now. Don Waddel at number #6? Atlanta has NEVER made the playoffs. This is just bad judgment by whoever made that list. Nobody should be even close to Matt Millen on that list. He's in a catagory of his own (and a bad one at that).

You don't think they gave up a lot? I've always thought Upshall could eventually become a pretty good power forward, and Ryan Parent is looking to be a solid defenseman. Oh well, I guess it's how you look at things. Good one!

Brett Hull doesn't exactly have the... erm... credentials of being a league commissioner. He's a TV analyst, so he can say stuff like he does. Don Cherry get's away with it too, and you'd be crazy to think he would make a good commissioner.

If all you plan to do is continue to troll, then just leave. We don't need this kind of crap. Eww, no. I'd much rather see the new tough guy Adam Keefe get called up. We might just see a fight in the Nashville game. Well, I'm wrong here. With Bootland we'd see a fight too. It's just Bootland is a sure loss.

It's been quite a transistion for him, but I think he's getting over leaving Edmonton. It just also occured to me: If Smyth does good with the Isles, I wonder if they'll throw him an offer "he can't refuse" like with DiPietro. You never know what could happen with them.
