I think that by far the best scenario for the NHL would be a Red Wings Rangers final. Two oringal six teams that ur up there in attendance and ratings playing each other. I think then the finals would get pretty damn good ratings. I cant think of any other team in the west that for marketing standpoint, fans, ratings, sales etc that the NHL would rather have then the Red Wings, and im not trying to sould like a homer, maybe dallas, or if colorado makes it. but in the east, Montreal, New York, Pittsburgh, New Jersey, Sabers, etc. As for marketablility. But like i said, dream finals Red Wings vrs Rangers, and prolly for the NHL, the rangers would be the better victor. however i of course, would want the Red Wings

first of all let me state that sergei is my favorite player ever. however, i dont really feel bad for the booing and it angers me when he says it upsets him. Thats bulls***, what do u expect, he left a team he didnt have to, so he could be the center of attention. and this whole personal thing is crap, ok maybe he was going through a hard time, but he knew if he wanted to stay in detroit, he could have stayed. and if anyone remembers the situation, he kinda left all of a sudden. I remember hearing that they are still in talks and sergei was giving the wings a hard time, then all of a sudden he signs with the ducks. THE DUCKS, the team that just swept us and broke all of our hearts. hell he could of been going to the avalanche at the time. Thats how i felt. PLus i think the boos gets into his head, and if i knew that booing a player would make him not as deadly as he could be, i would do it, if you notice whenever feds plays the red wings and gets booed, he gets rid of the puck pretty quickly. Sergei getting rid of the puck is a good thing for us. If he comes back to detroit, im sure he will get cheered. But untill then, he deserves every one of those boos. I dont feel bad, and im Russian and love Sergei to death. He could of left like shanny, by saying it was just time for him to go, instead without any notice just bolted at the first chance. He pulled a ***** manover and thats why he gets booed

WingMachine91 replied to HELLDOGSbmx's topic in General

Hank on WDIV: I will play in the playoffs
WingMachine91 replied to lidstromsnumba1's topic in General
thank god, because every one of his return dates were pushed back started getting me worried -
i would love to have avery, but an avery who doesnt take dumb penalties. that would be just what every team needs in the playoffs
-
who drafted daigle? and who went after him in the draft?
-
is any one else really paying attention to colorado, im really hoping they make it. there only like 6 points out and playing pretty well. i see them as our best option. knocking calgary out of the playoffs would be great, plus they would easily be the weakest team in the west. plus most of the red wings avs games this year have been pretty good.
-
i actually just got center ice for tv a couple weeks ago. and it cost me a grand total of 29.75 for the rest of the year and the first 2 rounds of the playoffs. that is what comcast is offering. and i would say its pretty fair.
-
does anyone have a photo thats kind of like this, but its just lids in front with draper and zetter behind him, and i think they are all wearing glasses. its not from this photo shoot, it just has a black backround i think
-
the only red wing ive ever met was back in 97. i saw slava fetisov in an airport, and since im russian as well i called his name and spoke russian to him to get his attention. then had a nice little convo with him. he was getting on a plane to go back to russia. really nice guy.
-
for anyone who doesnt live in the greater detroit area, i just got nhl center ice for 29.75 for the rest of the year and the first round of the playoffs. its pretty cheap and im glad i got it. so now i can watch all the nash detroit games that arent on. just letting everone else know. because im pretty happy i have center ice right now
-
yes im assuming, well i have comcast and thats what they are offering for comcast digital cable. 29.75 for the rest of the season and playoffs. pretty damn good. i would call my provider to check on that but just giving a head up

couldnt agree more and do believe that if hasek goes down we are screwed. osgood is not the same goalie he was when he won the cup. even then he was pretty good, but not hasek quality. now osgood is average at best, and is in no way capable of carrying this team to a cup. the goals he lets in are pure crap. i have absoluty no confidence in him. he may have some good saves, but the goals he lets in are backbreaking, hes pretty much another manny now.

well i am in favor of trading hudler for tuzzi, but i dont like when people say hudler will amount to nothing because hes small.....can anyone say martin st. louis. hes small, quick and can score, this is what we can hope of hudler. of course not as fast a skater, but as long as huds is smart, he should be fine. so i would do the trade, but wouldnt be pissed if we ended up keeping hudler. side note: i really cant wait and hope grigorenko will play for our team next year. i remember he was pretty much a better version of kovalchuk back in the day, and i know this because i am russian and have family in russia. and when i was talking with my uncle who lives there and brought up kovalchuk during his rookie year, he said over in russia, girgorenko(polly spelled wrong) was considered a better version of illya...so lets just hope

yeah, once again i get screwed, cause the second game on that feature is penguings flyers, and since i live near phili, im positive that i will get screwed and shown that game instead
-
hahahahaha, sooo true
-
well first of all, i think ur looking to say whats OUR answer, but yeah nobody really knows, we all speculate, but im wouldnt be surprised if we had a deal that was completly out of left feild. u never know..and theres like 800 threads on this
-
i keep hearing everyone say how the preds paid i high price for foresberg. but when i saw the trade, all i thought was thats it? its really not that big of a gain for the flyers, especially for what everyone was predicting. upshaw has not really shown anything yet, and a d-man with sub par stats and injury problems, plus a first round choice towards the end of the draft. i think they could of gotten more. and even if they couldnt, i really dont think iw as that high of a price to pay
-
if anyone actually thinks we would be better off with Hatches instead of Schneider, they are out of their mind. lets give away one of our best scorers, especially on the power play, and a dman who can move the puck up ice, and is pretty quick, for a pretty slow d-man, who doesnt even hit that much anymore and gets no points? crazzyyyy
-
what makes u think otherwise? so far we havnt seen anything bad from him. plus we have Stephan Liv as well, so we can strike out twice before we go out and pay someone alot of money to fail in detroit
-
thats still 4 more than anyone else on this team
-
im gonna be there tonight! row 5, section 112. should be good, hope they kick ass because after last nights game, they better not come out lackluster
-
im gonna be at the game too!!! row 5 to the left of either the players or the penalty box, dont remember, but yeah i was wondering if i should wear my jersey, cause my friend will wear his flyers jersey, but im not sure..
-
when is his contract up? is he a free agent after this year, cause if thats the case..u never know
-
i would prolly take bert because he would come alot cheaper, plus hes a rental, blake seems like a player to keep around and build a team around..well maybe not to that extent but, bert would bring more of what we need
