the person who wrote that article would be none other than woody paige. the jackass on around the horn, and those of u who are familiar with him, hes been writing articles like this for the avs and insulting the wings for years

i hate when people act like cleary is the savior of this team and when he gets back everything will be ok. he is a streaky scorer, and i like him and hes been good, but he is not our answer to our offense. i hope a healthy defense is. i usually like to defend holland but it really upsets me that he didnt do ANYTHING! like come on.

sad sad day to be a red wings fan

i have a friend who is a kings fan, and he was telling me how mike cammalari has really fallen out of favor with the kings and the organization. i hear that they might be listening to trade offers. does anyone else think he would be a great addition to the wings. he is what this team is lacking, and that is a true sniper who has a shoot first mentality. him playing with dats or zetter would be great. i can imagine holland pulling this one out of his hat, since all th talk is on everyone else, he could quietly get him. and kings fans also dont think it will take too much to get him. i remember offering like kindl or one of our other d prospects since we have so many, and he thought that was overpayment. Thoughts?

the east has all the good players, but the west has all the tough ones. thats the difference. if a team like the ducks, sharks, flames make the finals, they will win the cup. they will man handle any of the skilled east teams.

its always a gamble, but if he can be had for cheap second line scoring power play point shot great 2 way play defensively responsible more options with lines would bring a buzz to the city about the team id say its a pretty good gamble

with hasek not making the trip, doesnt it seem like tomorrow will be the best possible time to play howard. Since the next games are at dallas and at colorado. Those are not got places for a young goalie to play, on the road against a tough dallas team, and a colorado team that might actually be healthy and have some firepower

Ok. we know how bulls*** that call was, and how holmstrom has been called on this s*** all year. however, now that the refs screwed him on such an important goal that got national coverage, and obviously people are talking about it. Do u think that for the rest of the season or in the playoffs, they will actually lay off homer and not call these interference calls? By trying to be fair they might be a little too fair to make up for a stupid mistake. which could be good when it counts.

actually, for those of you who want the nhl back on espn, and trust me that will be for the best, go to espn and go to the nhl page as much as possible, cause right now espn is taking notice that the nhl is actually getting alot of hits on their site, alot more than they expected and they are really thinking of bringin back nhl, so go there as much as possible and let them know there are plenty of hockey fans

Hey, this is a question for those of u around the detroit area. i found this website of a store called motor city sports gallery which has some great framed pictures. the ones i liked were the one called sweet revenge with mac nailing lemieux and the goalie fight. however i live in philly and there doesnt seem to be an option on the site for online order. do u guys know if they ship their pics and how big the pictures are? cause it doesnt say on the sight. if u guys can help that would be great. thanks in advance

the caps are the team im cheering for in the east. i always have and every time they started winning i payed more attention to them with center ice. now i find myself watching every game they play unless its the same time as the wings. go caps. ovechkin in the playoffs will tear it up. if u think he plays with fire now, just wait till the playoffs. i hope they make the playoffs as the 8th seed cause they seem to have the senators number. could be an interesting first round

first of all i would love for the red wings to get fedorov back at the deadline. am i the only one who keeps up with the scores of blue jacket games to make sure they lose and fall out of the playoff hunt? secondly, the only way i could see this happening is if he were to come back to the wings, be a big part of a cup run and win back the fans. then retire. a part of me things that the wings should just retire feds lids and shanny's numbers because of what they have done, all next to each other, so when u look up u see 19 91 5 14 all hanging together. that would be special because everyone would remember them and the cup runs. and even if they dont retire their numbers, they should do something like with vladdy and at least for the next 5 or 10 years not have anyone wear the numbers. because seeing meech wearing 14 kinda broke my heart. same goes with anyone in 91 for detroit. just my opinion

well im not sure how it is in denver, but i live in phili and when i go to flyers games, if u find the team bus in the parking lot of the away team. u can usually catch them on the way to the bus in the parking lot. and hope that there arent alot of people around so they will treat u very nicely. thats just my experience. hope that helps

i dont know about you guys, but i think if the flyers make the playoffs, they will go strait to the finals. we always talk about how hard the western conference playoffs are and how some teams are built for the playoffs, well the flyers are just that. except THERE IN THE EAST. they will run over any team they play. if they can get some timely scoring from brier and richards, and with biron playing well, i think we might see a 97 cup finals this year. and im in no way a flyers fan, it just seems like they will just run over any soft finesse eastern team.

how can u say that. if anything that has has earned holland even more trust. to be able to get bertuzzi for what he did, and not overpay at all is def worth it. we would be lucky to get a player like that again this year. yeah bertuzzi didnt really pan out, but luckily we barely gave up jack sh*t for him so ti doesnt matter. but if he were to pan out holland would of looked even better.
