Well, My Computer was down...and I did get my pick in about 7 hours before game time. It's not like it was to my advantage....it just gave me less games to pick from. I'd like to keep playing this game, obviously...but i don't live and die by it. I didn't get any advantage from it. Since the winner doens't technically win anything, If I get DQ'd for this, I'll still play along unofficially, just for myself to see how well i can do. If this was serious for money or something, yeah, DQ, but for fun? I'll continue to play along....If by chance I "Win" but not officially...i'll still know I've won. Or I could be knocked out next week and none of this will matter. Let the chips fall where they may

No, the Exhibition game against Montreal they were together, and Did not Gel at all. The Way Pav and Hank play, datsyuk will carry the puck, draw about 3 defenders then squirt the puck out in Zetterberg's Direction. Z would then take it the rest of the way and get a scoring opportunity. Seen that play so many times last year. With Hossa, Datsyuk would do the same thing, but when he'd toss it in Hossa's Direction, hossa was never ready for the puck, Often Lunging for it, causing a turnover. Also read an interview where Hossa said with Pav you just always have to expect the puck to come to you, and he's not quite there yet in terms of comfort. So, either we wait it out for Pav and Hossa to Gel, or you Reunite Hank and Dats, cause we know that they already have that Chemistry

What about a Boy at the leafs Camp? Anybody else read that one? Yeah, I know it's Leafs, but It's a really good fiction hockey book. I remember reading it when I was in grade 5, and remember Loving every second of it. I'm more into biographies, or jsut Hockey story books, I like Hockey History Books....But a boy at the Leafs camp I just remeber it being So good. Granted I was 11 when i read this and I don't remember much about it, you might pick it up, and be done in a day and be sorry you wasted your time on it. I've actually thought about this book a few times lately, and this topic reminded me about it, so I jsut went on ebay and Snagged a copy. There are still a couple left at the time of this post, looks like they're 10$ a piece...I got the one that had the cheapest shipping to canada. Check it out, enjoy

Tomorrow's game is gonna cost you. Other than that, on the street is where it's at. Went to about 7 games last year, all tickets from scalpers, never paid face value. They'll ask for more at the beginning, and you might have to go through a couple to find a deal, but they're out there

Keith Jones pointed to his first year with the Thrashers being a big one, and Also Said that Playing Alongside Datsyuk, he'd lead the league in Points. Those 4 Drafted, then after tehy were done, Craig Conroy put a team together from what was left over. 4 Forwards, 2 Defencemen, 1 Goalie and 1 Rookie. The Most Notable - Ilya Kovalchuck Wasn't Drafted. i'm sure tsn.ca will have the full teams somewhere....My first thought was Wow, I can't believe how bad these "experts" are, but then figured, they're bad, but they only play against each other year after year, and someone's winning....so it's not like they've had to develop good fantasy hockey strategies.

Why did you pay "good money" for an exibition game? I was lucky enough to get free tickets, but i would have went anyways, and would not have payed more than $20 to get in. Tickets were going on the Street for $10 a piece. Moral? Do not EVER pay "good Money" For an exibition game. I'm planning on going to the TOronto Preseason game and I do not plan on spending more than $10 to get in. Notes on the game --- Maltby took a pretty bad elbow from Komisarek, he then whipped around and drilled him back with an elbow, then looked at the ref, bitched about the elbow he took, and then bitched when the ref called them both for elbowing. Maltby also took another bad penalty and again just bitched to the ref the entire way to the box. I don't hate Maltby. But with the way some of the young guys ae playing, IMO he's expendable. Draper took a stupid Goalie interference Penalty and did the same, Bitched all the way to the Sin Bin. Draper is much more useful than Maltby at this point, but again IMO he's Expendable. Downey - One of the Hardest workers of the game. He was playing full speed from start to finish. You can tell how much making this team means to him. Abdelkader - I'd say the Hardest worker on the Ice, was rewarded with a goal, threw som big hits. Great Game Leino - didn't do much. He's Big though Ericsson - Another Big Guy, was very good defensively. Didn't seem to be too strong With the Puck though. One play that sticks out was a montreal player was streaking towards detroits end, got a nice outlet pass, and Ericsson Skated his butt off to get back to him and not let him do anything with teh puck in detroits zone. Hossa/Datsyuk. - Neither of them really seemed to put forth much effort. But that's the way Datsyuk always looks....then he robs players of teh puck, and finds an open guy (usually Holmer, tonight it was) in front of the net to score a goal. Him and Hossa didn't Gel. Datsyuk is a Wizard with the puck, and a lot of times in traffic, he'd make a few moves and dish the puck to hossa, and Hossa just wasn't ready for it, or wasn't expecting it. When Zetterberg and datsyuk are together, Datsyuk will squirm the puck out in Z's direction, and Hank will take off with it. Hossa was just missing the Pass. i'm not saying hossa Sucks, or that he WON'T gel with datsyuk....but i think what Z and D have is pretty special how they play off each other, and should stay together. The goalies Played well, If i didn't mention someone, it's becasuse they didn't stick out in a positive or negative Way. Fun game to see, can't wait to go to the next one.

Yeah, Chelios is probably THE worst replacement choice. He'll only be a part time player, and he most likely won't be back next year. For $40, However, I'm strongly considering Getting a Chelios.

Wow, this is great. i just don't like the 20$ jump from 6 mos to 1 year. i'd like to have it for the draft and stuff. I read the rules and it just says that you need to inform them if you're using multiple IPs...... it says that if you use more than 3 they'll cancel your account, no refund. maybe it would be a good idea to pair up, instead of everyone sharing? I think if you're streaming from just 2 ip's they woulnd't be suspicious....especially if you come up with a reason for it. Question - Can they see where your ip is from? Like, will he know that My computer is in windsor, and say, the other ip is coming from North Carolina?? If not, i'd be willing to pair up with someone. I'll put it on my card, and i'll take a half payment from paypal from someone. if they CAN tell, is there anybody here from Windsor that would like to go halfs with me? I'm saying get the 6 month Package. In windsor, we get the Draft and Awards on TSN, but we get close to 0 Red Wing Games. Wow, woulda thought there'd be more card collectors around here. Yes, the 91-92 pro set card IS his rookie. the entire set is worth about $5 If you got a dollar for the Hasek i'd be surprised. You can get sets for super cheap on ebay, and in turn, you can get most sets from the 90's for 5-15$ From local dealers The past year, I'd go into my local card shop and drop about $50 and get 7-8 Sets. The market for the cards in the 90's is pretty much rocxk bottom. That 1991 rookie team was Belfour, Weinrich, Rob blake Jagr Fedorov and Ken hodge. Lidstrom qwas on the 92 rookie team with Konstantinov, Nelson emerson, Kevin todd and Tony Amonte, with Hasek in net. A Rookie card is Simply the first NHL Licsenced Card produced of that player. There were Many guys in th 80's that played 3-4-5 years before they got a card made, and that became their rookie card. Rookie cards Kind of got out of control with "Prospect" Cards, mainly in the other 3 sports, companies would make cards of college kids, hoping they'd turn out to be superstars and that would make, say, upper deck, the hottest set, because it was the only company that made a card of Peter Forsberg in 91-92 So now, I'm not sure how it evolved, but there is a special logo that all companies use for their rookie cards. the Main Card companies also Short print ALL rookie cards. so last years upper deck Base set, (cards numbered 1-200 for series 1, and 251-450 for series 2) go for about 20$ a set. but cards numbered 201-250 and 451-500 are ALL rookie cards, and are much tougher to find because they make so few of them. So that's why you'll see Patrick Kane's rookie go for $50+ and Hasek's for less than $1 the No Name rookies (Guy's who's name you can't pronounce and will never play more than a handful of games in the NHL) are still valued at $3-$5, jsut becasue of the rarity, and people want them to complete a master Set. So for upper deck, you can get the 400 Card base set for 20-30 dollars, but if you get teh 500 Card Master set, with all the rookies, you're looking at dropping around $500
