I think is was a 1-0 win against the ducks. Extremely boring game if I recall corectly.

Understand that Q is playing top 4 minutes in colorado. He is not better than Lidstrom, Rafalski, Kronwall or Stuart. I would throw in Ericsson as well. At the time, waiving Q was the best option.

The thing about Quincey being waived was that both him and Meech could not be sent down to GR without being put on waivers first. One had to go. Meech has the ability to play both offense and defense. Which Q cannot do. I think kenny tried to trade Q, but there were no takers. He was put on waivers and picked up by LA. For the record, Quincey would not be the player he is today if he was still stuck in the Red Wings system. I just wish we could of gotten something for him.

Well, if the sharks suck too much in the regular season, they wont have to worry about the playoffs. Edit: Quincey has an assist in the game and has been solid from what I've seen.

Looks like a good, clean hit to me. Hope Okposo is ok... probably just setting up how the islanders regular season will pan out .

Stuart, Kronwall,and Ericsson wont be traded. Lilja wont be traded because he is not cleared to play. No team will take a chance on him.(LTIR?) If someones salary has to come off the books it is between Lebda or Meech. If it comes to that IMO one will be lost on waivers and not traded.

Sounds like wishful thinking on hawks fans part to trade away two horrible contracts in Huet and Campbell.

By the Red Wings "over ripe" standards, Gador is not ready IMO. There is just no other option right now. Hope he does well though.

Sad to see Conks go. No more "Conkblocked" references, but Howard deserves a REAL shot at the NHL. Edit: "Jimmyblocked" doesn't have the same ring, but its along the same lines as "Conkblocked"... maybe it will catch on...

If Hossa's girlfriend is the deciding factor in where signs, he either needs to grow a pair or get himself a new girlfriend. But yeah, like RedFX said... I doubt there is any truth to this.
