Apparently throwing a pus on the ice in Columbus is too! We see the octopi throwing as tradition, BJ fans dont. They see it as disrespect. Add the emotions and booze and things are bound to boil over. Not a big deal though IMO... its basically a friday night at any bar, USA.

Trash talking is meant to throw your opponent off their game. If If Backes takes offense, his no longer gonna be 100% focused on the hockey game at hand. Its like a game within a game. -
