Dipietro. Let that sink in. We still need depth player ya know. Committing to a player till 2021 is risky. Throw all the numbers you want, but it does not change that. Edit: it's easy to throw around money that is not yours and have it not risk loosing your job.

You can't just give every player a 12 year contract. Too risky. Besides IF Hossa signs with the Wings next year he will not make more than Lids.
