Maybe the ref thought a Wings player hit the puck into the net? What ever the reason, kudos to the ref for using the replay to get the call right.

Beautiful hit. Perfect form, no elbow, no jumping, no headhunting. Just a crushing body check. Looking at the replay, it looks like Stuart let up a little. He could of destroyed Ansimov if he really wanted to.
