My Brother is a Blackhawks fan. Back in the day when the hawks were good, it was fun to rub a wings win against the hawks in his face and vice versa, in fact lots of punches were thrown because of this. Yesterday when I told him the Wings won it seemed like his spirit was crushed... sad sad stuff. I feel bad to even mention it let alone give him s*** for it.

He could, but I havent heard any news about him being unhappy here. he seems to be well liked by the wings organization and fans, so I see no reason why he would want to waive his NTC. EDIT: damn you and your fast fingers superstar

To win the stanley cup, your goalie has to make timely saves, Osgood did that in 98. Dont try to diminish Osgoods role in the 98 cup win. As for tonights game, the end of the first could have been a lot worse than 1-0. Throughout the whole game Osgood kept his team in a position to win against one of the best teams in the league. What more could you ask for in a goalie? And on a side note considering his resume he is playing for peanuts. Look at colorados backup thoedore who makes 5.5 mil. and I believe is making 6 mil. next year. Be grateful we have osgood.

This rule reminds me of when I played outdoor hockey as a kid and someone would shoot the puck over the boards and get the puck lost in the snow and everybody getting pissed off because you had to stop the game and look for the puck...good times anyway I dont like this rule either
