i dont want to jump the gun and say if things keep going this way that the series is going to end in a sweeep but... you know.

what a dominating victory for the Wings... osgood was even better than he was in game 1. nash cant seem to get anything going, picture perfect first two games of the series.

keep up the physicality, keep up the solid play ozzie, bring home another win! very excited to see how this one turns out. osgood was stellar in game 1.

rags and caps might end up to be a dogfight. which id love to see. with the game the blues made it interesting but the canucks held them off - thats what i pretty much expect to see with that series. luongo is too good to be defeated by the blues.

i wish TSN came to the US... or at least to a few states where hockey is popular? something? i didn't even know that someone living in michigan wouldn't have CBC.. im very fortunate on that end. i have Versus, FS-D, NBC, and CBC for playoff hockey (and the internet of course!)

things didn't turn out exactly as i was hoping tonight because of the Sharks win, but the Avs did hang in there which is honestly more than i was expecting. the sharks probably have the presidents all wrapped up, to their credit.

good. ericsson is huge and it made me real happy to see him actually fight someone, and now seeing that Abdelkader isnt afraid to fight either makes me excited, the Wings need this.. they have the fewest fighting majors in the NHL, although im not saying the team should turn into the Ducks or the Flames and play dirty, but having a few hard nosed players is what im all about.

the bulin wall has been a little less than his namesake the last several seasons.... and he's overpaid. nooo thanks. plus the Wings need to figure things out with Howard, and they just recently drafted a goalie.

Lidstrom called a players only meeting today... Babcock is upset...goalies and D have been inconsistent, whats it gonna take? an early round exit?

to me, its good that Ozzie is named the starter. as much as he has struggled this year @ times, everyone knows he really is a proven playoff winner who doesn't get rattled in the playoffs. ty conklin....not in the same boat. Decent goalie, but decent goalie's dont take a team to a Stanley Cup. i feel much more comfortable going into the playoffs w/ a guy who has been part of three championship teams, and has been the starter on two of them. he still has it.

in the playoffs? im not so sure. i guess we will have to see! although Lilja is a a 5th or 6th defenseman, he is still valuable on the team, and in my eyes, is a better choice between ericsson and himself; he blocks shots and can use his body, but with Lillypads, you take the bad with the good:
