Ozzie was great. i t hink the score should have ended 3-1 (the Zetterberg "hand pass" goal was called off) but nonetheless. two wins away from going to the Stanley Cup finals. we were at this spot last year (although im pretty sure after two games the series was 1-1). Outside of the Wings playing their worst hockey of the playoffs in the next possibly 5 games, i think we will be going to the finals. and that is amazing!

i dont understand why so many people are so convinced here that if the stanley cup final is DET/PIT that the Wings will take it and shut down Crosby, Malkin and Hossa. to be honest, if thats the final im a bit nervous. i dun see how the Wings could shut down those type of players / Osgood making a lot of saves. the Pens have been scoring a lot too...

looks like the Wings or Stars will be playing the Pens in the finals. Flyers had a long shot WITH Kimmo Timonen, now without him.... all im asking for from a Wings fan perspective is just to have the flyers wear out the pens.

i think morrow is a very good player, but you said it best. no one player will take out an entire team in a series. key for the Wings in the series to keep up their puck possession, crisp passing, and ability to break the trap the Stars will play on defense.

im very happy to hear this considering its about a guy everything thought was nothing more than a rental. i love how he plays.
