Theodore's excuse for being sick is bunk. the people at NBC were even talking about how he was feeling better going into game 2. he probably just fell back on it cause he got rocked again. Colorado and their fans have been full of nothing but excuses. for the Wings, regardless if floppa was in or not, just keep doin what you're doing. drive the net, limit the Avs chances. game 3 will be an important one to win. i dont want the Avs to get any momentum back like the Preds did.

rags probably should have had that goal later in the 3rd but overall they played like crap.

i really think Budaj is going to be in game 3. he has no playoff experience, and the way the Wings have just embarassed the Avs today, with Forsberg or not, the Wings might be able to shoot for a sweep.

yeah seriously. "blah blah blah thats why ive been saying for weeks that i think the red wings are in real trouble' SHUT UP! this game was absolutely amazing. i think this is the best weve seen the Wings play. Osgood just so solid its amazing not having to worry about 2 goals possibly getting scored on you in 10 seconds (goalie and defense both) Forsberg or not, Avs are in trouble. and its great to see the Wings playing great this time of year when it really counts.

ive been looking around to see any updates on the injured Avs, and i cant find any. so if you know any injury news about Floppa, Wolski, or Hannan, id like to know. to me, Hannan looked badly hurt last game from the Shinguard Assassin's ™ wrister right into his foot. he could not put any weight on it at all - im just wondering if it was merely the sting of the shot or something more.

i agree with pretty much everything you said. the media for the most part would just love to see the Wings get bounced early.

this is such a cool thread of you to start. and ironic to me at least, i was literally JUST thinking about how much i love hockey the other day, and got all excited at school to come home and watch some later that night. i love hockey because it is the fastest, most entertaining sport in the world. i love the swarming offensive pressure any team can bring, i love the excitement and "OH!" you almost invariably hear when a shot rings off the post - nothing can match that in any sport. i love the blending phyiscality and finese. when i was younger i loved learning about different strategies of the game. the play in general is extremely exciting and even more so in person. hockey is great because every minute really does count, hockey is the best because one team can be on all out offense, and there can be a huge save by the defending goalie and an odd man rush the other way in a matter of seconds. end to end hockey is 2nd to none, but i really do love every aspect of the game. GO WINGS!
