id love to see the Wings play strong with Hasek back now. im very happy he is back. the Preds are in fact fighting for their playoff lives, and they are the team id prefer to face in the 1st round, so how about an OTL for the Preds?

exactly right. we need hasek and we need hasek strong to make a Cup run. lets not fool ourselves. i absolutely love ozzie, but he gave up a few soft goals tonight.

not very surprised that we lost. we looked a big sluggish. turned the heat up in the 3rd. got a point at least. lets not all jump off a bridge.

stars and flames currently both have 90 points both with 77 games played. hopefully the stars can hold off the flames so the ducks and stars can have a go in the 1st . thats the most ideal match up to me. i dont think the flames will handle the ducks much at all.

it's 2008 and i never thought id ever see this day. it's been a long road and some real tough times for darren mccarty, his good friend Draper has a foot in the door for him to get back into Pro hockey in the IHL and look at where he is now. im so extremely excited and so happy for him! im just gonna be so thrilled to see him in a wings jersey again playing his game. welcome home darren mccarty! go wings!

im not too freaked. neither team looked that good tonight. but i am alarmed that Big Joe and Marleau are scoring now. if these two teams (wings and sharks) meet up in the playoffs. presumably the conference finals. it should be a great series.but i still think the Wings can handle them.

canucks look like garbage lately. specifically Luongo. i dont even really care who the Wings play anymore.

i really do think the Ducks are going to get bounced early this year, and im not just saying that because i hate them. they are a "play off" type team but i just feel like a choke is coming on from them. id rejoice.

Ducks win in a shootout against the Kings 2-1. the homerism i heard in the 3rd period on (that's when i tuned in) from the Ducks FSN feed was enough to make me want to puke.

now its time for me to finish the Ducks/Kings game. 1-1 after two periods.

the Wings have not had that many national games AT ALL this year. its extremely eastern conference heavy on Versus and apparantly, NBC too...

as the season starts to die down, and if the Cancucks can hold onto their lead (still two to go, only up 2-1) im really starting to think the Wings will either be playing Colorado or Nashville, either way im with that. the Oil seem to now be done.

ive been scoreboard, or more appropriately sopcast watching games of interest in the western conference for about two weeks now to see how the playoffs shake up. i think itd be cool to start a thread each night to talk about scores around the league and whatnot. Oil losing to Minny 0-3 with 1 minute to go in the 2nd period, rooting for Minnesota. and the Avs and Canucks are tied at 1 a little over half way through the 1st. im rooting for the Canucks to hold off the avs, so the canucks stay in the 7 seed. i could go for a Canucks win in OT or SO so at least the avs get a point.

sharks lose in OT. 100 points for them on the season.

Vacouver blowing it in Calgary. down 3-2 late in the 3rd. folks, they do NOT look good. im starting to understand there's a reason this team is a 7th seed.
