im gonna watch the end of the nucks game. im rooting for them to win and stay in the 7 seed. then ill be watching the sharks game which i forgot was on Versus. and of course, in that game ill be rooting for the coyotes. great game by the Wings, this felt like a playoff game, they got it done. Franzen is going crazy. Ozzie is solid as ever.

Homer is starting to worry me.... i hope he comes back soon. :[

very true, but i wonder if they'll make a legit push... colorado @ calgary tonight, the avs i think have lost three straight. the preds are two points behind them, and the Hawks are only four points back. they do need a little help...but it can happen. id actually love to see a Hawks/Wings 1st round. i just kinda stopped talking about it cause they were so dead and buried. here's chicagos last chance... they need the Avs to lose tonight, but you see, to me, its a win win regardless. as long as we dont run into the canucks and they get stuck playing the Sharks. so for the Wings it can be: avs/preds/Oilers/Hawks. ill take anyone of those over the Canucks. the Oilers being my last choice out of the four.

regardless of what's really going on with Hasek, its great knowing we can send Ozzie into a series instead of some crap back up. welcome back cleary!!!

great win for the Wings! Datsyuk and Zetterberg are in some serious playoff form, and the Mule just keeps on going. Hasek looked very good in net tonight. lets keep it going against the blues on tuesday, as for me i wont be in the hockey world tomorrow, but ill be watching as many games as i can until the playoffs to see who falls where and who shall play the Wings. im pulling for the Predators.

Marleau doesnt really do anything in the playoffs, Cheechoo and Thornton were kept at minimal damage. with the additon of Brian Campell yes they are a better team, but im just not running scared of them. not to mention Nabokov can never seem to win the big game. who did they bounce the last two years to get to the 2nd round? the Nashville Predators. now, im not saying they arent a great team, but they seem to me at least, a team running into the playoffs with a ton of hype, but is truly a paper tiger.

i only watched the 1st period then turned it off and went out for a bit!! but either way, no offense to the Oil but they're a pretender team. as people have noticed, 15 shoot out wins (see 06-07 Penguins). im actually rooting for the Preds to get the 8th seed followed by the Avs - but it looks like they're gonna screw that up too. Preds win in a shoot out today, Oil and Preds gain ground on Avs and the 8th seed. go preds?

its really starting to look like that's going to be the match up !! oh and i cant stand ANY of the ducks. so many of them are cheap shot kings. wow i can just feel myself getting excited at the prospect of the stars and ducks dragging out a series in the 1st round.

okay, san jose won last night and pretty much gurantees that the ducks will play the stars in the 1st round. ill only be happy if the Wings can take care of their business tonight against the Blue Jackets. ill also be watching the Avs/Oil game on CBC in just under an hour - im kind of rooting for the avs so they can hold onto their 8th seed. watching a ton of games this time of year is great, go wings! please please please dont let this one slip away.

just recently when Homer was out with an injury (the one before this one) my girlfriend went out to lunch with her grandpa in novi and just randomly saw tomas holmstrom sitting there eating. i wish i went! also apparantly she found out where Chelios is getting a new house built? pretty cool stuff.

hey, im watching. 1-0 Sharks after 1. good game so far, very physical. of the lesser of two evils, im rooting for the sharks (simply so that the ducks wont catch the sharks in the standings and thus have to play the stars in the 1st round!)

everytime he talks...he just kills me inside with so much laughter.
