so happy just to see a Wings win tonight. this game looked much more of a team effort and people were actually forechecking and pressing the issue, very happy to see the Wings finally come away with one, despite another really strange goal against.

id definitely love to see a Wings/Avs 1st round. rivalry restored! imagine seeing Forsberg diving again its inevitable!

i love Cheli so much. he reminds me of an old annoyed man. example? last year, game 5 against the Flames during all the rough stuff him and inginla push each other around and Chris calls him a "******" - it was great seeing him mouth that to one of the most annoying and obnoxious players in the league.

with the return of Hasek and Kronwall, and Stuart's first game i hope this will end the funk the Wings have been in. either way, lookin forward to this one go wings!

didn't the Canuckleheads just barely get past them in the 1st round? i think the stars are going to cause some serious problems in the conference (hopefully for the Ducks)

ive always thought he has had such an upside to him.. but every year it seems he just gets injured and never really comes back. damaged goods and he's 26. im glad kenny didn't go after him for his injury history alone.

i just dont want to see the guy try too hard to play phyiscal or just merely play outside his game. as long as he doesnt cough up the puck in the playoffs (looking at you lillypads) i think ill be fine with him.

if the Wings make it past the 1st round this year - hopefully this thread will be revived around that time to see how the Wings really tanked it against a much more phyiscal (insert western canadian/california team)

no offense but, who cares who is the favorites? the Wings were favorites against the 8th seeded Oilers back in 06. its so cliche but so true anything really can happen in the playoffs so im not worried if the Ducks are the favorites or if people here want to hand the Cup to sidney crosby right now.

i like Lebda cause he has speed a bit of a scoring touch. i like Lilja because he does have a mean streak and led the team in hits and blocked shots last year. if i had to make a split decision right now id go with the Pain Train, but wouldn't be happy about benching Lebda/cutting him.
