i dunno. if the Wings dont do anything im not going to go crazy like some of you are. the Ducks did get better than last year yes they added Schneider and Bertuzzi and gave up Dustin Penner. consider this: the Wings were pretty much neck and neck with the Ducks last year and they got some VERY generous bounces in that playoff series (the pass across crease that hit Lidstrom's stick and went in, Lilja coughing up the puck in OT). im not gonna freak out, i think the Wings can definitely still hang with, and win a series against the Ducks. its just that im a bit concerned right now because the secondary scoring has been MIA the last few weeks.

i respect Sundin's decision to stay with the Leafs. most of all, im just happy he's not being rented out to the Ducks.

i dont mean to totally wreck the guy, but there have been so many spots in the last handful of games that i just want to scream when he's on the ice and i understand the Wings are slumping right now but Sammy is as consistently inconsistent as they come. that game against calgary i believe it was where he turned the puck over twice on one shift and the team almost got scored on both times, his obnoxious pointless headfakes at the blue line, that never work and/or cause an offside. his shots almost exclusively at the chest of any give goalie, his off target passes.. i just.... anything for him to be traded. he's gotta go.

hopefully he can get in even better shape and get called up soon. great news to hear!!

i am quite surprised by this. but in an ironic way, im kinda glad he signed with the Avs again. maybe this ole rivalry thing really is being rekindled. (one can hope!) the only unfortunate thing is that i think the Wings are already done playing the Avs this regular season. but there's always playoffs

very good point. since 01-02 his points have been consistently increasing. i want this guy in a Wings uni.

he's a great player who has openly said he wants to be on a winner and isn't in it for the money. sounds good to me... Euro or Canadian, i dont care. its about the player's skill, and he has plenty of it. possible: Datsyuk Zetterberg Hossa insane.

seeing articles like that and hearing how much cap space we have, and how whoever we happen to trade for Holland will want to re-sign or at least has the money to do so makes me believe more that the Wings wouldnt be going after Sundin (which is a good thing - he's a rental) come onnn Marian Hossa :banana:

i think this one is gonna be real close. Ozzie had a great bounce back on monday against the Avs. yes, there are a lot of injuries but for some reason i think the Wings will hang with the Flames tonight. go wings!
