ah the ups and downs in dealing with dominik hasek as your team's starting goaler. he's been great of late. yes just two games, but come on that Gabby collison makes up for a lot. Hasek is the only goalie in the world who would ever think to do that (besides ed belfour a few times, and he was probably drunk when he did it). win or lose, at least hasek makes it interesting! the Wings totally dominate another game. great to see Z with his 2nd career hat trick. downey lookin good. bring on carolina!

to combat the "go habs go" chant i will be hearing for the entire game tomorrow night, from now until game time "GO WINGS GO" shall be in my head. looking forward to some exciting hockey from the bell centre. go wings! go dom!

im not saying osgood is TOO old, im saying its unfair to just stand up and say he can take the Wings all the way to a Cup by looking and sayin "hey, ozzie did it in 98, why not now?" because of a hot start. i just cant. if osgood goes like this all the way throughout the season, ill be the first guy to support him and stand behind him. well see..

i hope you alll are right. i want to be wrong here. but i just dont know if an osgood who is ten years older than his last cup can take us all the way to another championship,granted he is playing close to-if not the best hockey of his career, but im still not sold on him. not in december. not yet.

well obviously no but its a definite start. high intensity place, on the road. i think this game will be a big gage to see exactly where Hasek is. as all of us know, this season thus far, it hasnt been good. and do you think that Ozzie can really take the Wings to a cup win? i lovee ozzie as much as the next guy, but im not so sure.

look, dom can gain redemption by having a strong game and getting a W tomorrow against the habs. national TV, original six match up; in montreal, im pumped!

im just happy ill get to see the Wings play every team at least once. toronto, ottawa, and new york (rangers) every year is something that is a good thing. maybe a little leafs/wings action on news years eve? oh yeah.

hudler has been playing great. as of right now, im just happy to see a guy not named "datsyuk" "zetterberg" or "holmstrom" step up and score some big goals. the Wings will need that come april.

total dominance tonight, Osgood keeps piling up the wins, rex hudler lookin good! such a solid game tonight.

no offense to the Wings to give a surprise greeting to the people buying tickets, but if they really wanted something like this to work they would send out Zetterberg and Homer ( i would say Pavel too but his english isnt exactly "A+" although it is getting better...)

how about Detroit signs Jagr, trades a 2nd round pick and derek meech to chicago for Langer and those two hook up with rex hudler on the 2nd line. see what the league thinks of that Czeching Line no seriously though, i do like Jagr, wont work in detroit as many have stated, he'll want too much.

thats the way i usually try to go whenever i watch hockey on the PC. folks, http://hockeywebcasts.com/ is a place to go to check daily to see if any games are being broadcasted online and it doesnt require any software. and http://myp2p.eu/ is a newly re-designed site that is very user friendly. the games now offer a "media player" option to watch games and the sopcast links to watch. also: it seems as though channelsurfing.net has all the versus games on their site.

im all for that. but calgary does play tough. im so glad to see downey out there, i just want to see him net a few for a hard workin guy out there. he's like the anti-Grigorenko. i like. ps. does anyone know of Emerick is doing the game tonight on versus? i hope. go wings!

this thread seems tongue in cheek from the start but: as others have said Stevie is a humble guy, not looking for the spotlight, he has other things goin on - VP of red wings, selling furniture and so on. he has nothing to prove. on a bad knee, removed from the NHL, im just happy to see him still around and involved. thats good for me.

nashville is not a true last place team. i think they'll be in the playoff hunt this spring. plus even if they were a cellar team, they ALWAYS play detroit hard regardless, so gotta hand it to nashville as well.
