Columbus was right there with the Wings the entire game. go wings!

Montreal was 3rd in the league overall?? i missed that memo. i watched the game, it was pretty good for a low scoring game until the late 3rd period. better team won but due to the lack of scoring, it was stil physical and entertaining. watching toronto and new york right now...

for about half the game the blue jackets were right there with the Wings. so glad to see the Wings take control and put together a solid team effort. of course im thrilled to see "the streak" continue for Z. amazing. Hasek was very solid coming back. quiet night overall, but a good game is a good game, and thats what he had.

ill write in Ozzie... but for him to seriously get near being an all star this thing obviously needs to pick up outside of michigan... but how.. where can i vote? im not seeing anything on the NHL site..

also looking forward to seeing Hasek back tonight. Osgood was completely lights out, but its Hasek coming back (not some rookie bum off the pine - although some on here have been feeling that way about Hasek lately). id would love to see Hasek come back strong ..well see...

hm. well to be fair i never said that Crosby wasnt the best player in the world, he has outstanding numbers already at his age and is a player all to himself. i guess if someone crosby was to get out of pitt. for Pavel id give it a go, but i guess one of the reasons why i was so ardent in saying "not even for crosby" was due to the fact that really, none of this will ever happen anywho. you're right. Pavel is great, Crosby - obviously the best.

another thing to look for tonight everybody: Zetterberg can set the Red Wings all time record for point streak to start a season at 15 games. against Nashville? well of course. wouldn't want it any other way.

i dunno folks, i just dont think this is going to be such an easy win as many people are saying here. i expect a hard fought game. close til the end, no score prediction. hopefully a good tootoo and downey fight thats the one thing ill give tootoo: when he's on the ice he just about always gives you something to love or hate depending on what team you root for. *fingers crossed*

im glad a thread like this was started, because i have been thinking to myself when watching TV and wondering if im seeing Chris Osgood from ten years ago. its amazing. who knows how ozzie will play the rest of the way, im just so pumped to see a beloved red wing like ozzie do great.

i dunno if this is the end of Forsberg, but if it is, under these circumstances, i kind of feel bad for him. talking about himself "I'm not planning on skating around and embarrassing myself like I have for many years" mehh as much as i couldnt stand colorado like anybody else. i didnt like Forsberg the same way i think people don't like Zetterberg right now. it was because of how good and clutch he was, and i just feel like he stil has some worth left in the tank at 34, but really its not his age, its his foot.
