its weird... i feel the same way. like, i want chicago to be good. the nashvilel mini-rivalry is cool and all, but im not sure if nashville is going to be able to play like they did last year, let alone get better, so to have chicago improve (on the shoulders of bobby lang) it would be great to see. as much as i know chicago fans literally hate the red wings and us who are the fans, i still want them to get better. on the positive side: bulin wall looked good last night. crazy.

good game so far. didnt see who fought. fighting seems to be back huh? haha - i hope so! chicago/minny had a fight. wings/ducks last night.. cal/phi tonight. hmmmm.

got the chicago/minny game on the PC tonight, toronto/ottawa on cbc through the tube. calgary/philly later tonight for me.

im thinking about going for the $22 tickets. id love to see the duckies of course. it also sparks my interest since apparently there are still tickets for tomorrow's game. weird. either way, ill be there, or watching from home. im soo ready for hockey.!

hahaha good for youu. i was real happy to see the Kings take it to the Ducks today, as well as hearing Pronger getting booed in England, they know what they're watching after all if they can call a spade and spade. and i definitely noticed some goonery on the Ducks part late in the game - some things never change.

i like the way the NHL sites are uniform with each other like MLB teams. easier navigation, granted it was never really "hard" to get around before it...

wow. these last two games of hockey against the Leafs were great, fast paced, rough, seriously entertaining stuff. the Wings and Leafs musttt meet up more often than just once a year. Wings looked real good this pre-season. also: downey(#20 - never forget) andd Ellis stay (you can tell he worked out hard on his speed and skills off season, i really liked seeing that, says a lot about his character and determination to play in the NHL - looking at you Igor ) down: Grigs - sorry friend, you just didn't impress enough to earn a spot in a crowded line up. looked quite sloppy out there. get it together in GR and we'll see. but to be honest, what i saw was more hype than anything. bring on the Duckiess!! (watch for elbows)

i checked the schedule online for FSN and it says tomorrow they will be covering the tigers game. anyone know if the red wings game will be on fsn+ or something? or will i have to watch the game through the PC? i thought i remember reading on here that the game would be on FSN. hmp.

meh. overall, i like the new jerseys and their fit - looks good. 12% faster too , right? its a win-win.
