Pretty much agree with this. His sample size is still way, way too small to make any sort of judgement. That said, he has looked very shaky but he's also 24 years old.

I'd love if Detroit carried two fighers. Doubt that's going to happen anytime soon though. And notice I said fighter, implying they can also play hockey. Tootoo is great, I loved the signing a year ago, but I'd be thrilled if we had a real checking line for once.

Yep, Edwards is a blowhard joke of a PBP guy. Thank God we have Ken Daniels and Mickey Redmond. They aren't perfect but they're far better than Edwards and others of his order.

Ken Kal and Paul Woods do an excellent job of calling games. Sure they have their hangups, such as Paul Woods calling Kirk Maltby, KURT for his entire career and even in the last few years post-career for Maltby, but they feed off each other really well. It's a mix of my general obsession with hockey, and the fact that they call a great game together, but I really enjoy listening to them if I'm at work and can't watch the game. -

The major thing that bugs me with Twitter in the spots realm, especially the knuckledraggers like ESPN and 97.1 The Ticket is that they report certain Twitter accounts as if it's a legitimate source, or just make a story out of some player saying something stupid or "controversial". So I pretty much think I agree with Torts on this one, surprisingly.
