Power forwards don't just grow on trees. I like certain aspects of Umberger's game but at other times he seems like a very borderline 2nd/3rd line player. Also, I don't see him leaving Columbus and certainly not to a divisional opponent. Same as Nash.

Kind of mad I turned CBC away because of my natural aversion to all things Penguins.

Wow I normally never agree with anything Mike Milbury says about hockey but he just completely ripped apart Ovechkin and was completely justified in doing so. As for Ian White, him being a healthy scratch does lead you to believe a trade might be on the way. But why in the world would we trade for a forward when our D is more thin than our forward corps? I don't recall White playing particularly poor to deserve to be benched. Actually I felt his last few games he's stepped up his play. SO who knows.

Yeah, that rivalry night concept is pretty dumb. Yes, NHL and co, manufacture some more rivaliries while you're at it. Pittsburgh and Washington wasn't enough.

Very convincing win. As for Brunner, the Hull comparison is way off. Brett Hull is a generational talent. I'd compare Brunner to like a Alex Semin 2.0. Great game from start to finish. Literally in a weekend we went from 11th place to 5th.

Will miss Chicago games but they will still play. Being in the east where Detroit belongs, along with playing Montreal and Toronto a lot will be a real treat. Not to mention being in a big division with Tampa and seeing Stamkos, Lecavalier, St. Louis and etc... yeah we need this.
