Rick Nash is my favorite player outside of the Red Wings. He is under some serious fire in Columbus for being a bad captain. If he were to come here, id about freak out in excitement. More than when we got Hossa, more than when we got Hull... this guy is offensively focused, a game breaker, and in my opinion, a star who needs a change of scenery.

A fight between two players onbthe same team. That'd make the allstar game worth watching

Morrow would be an amazing addition although I think he has years left on his contract and makes quite a bit

Scott Gomez hasn't scored in almost an entire calendar year.

11 goals and 10 assists is exactly what you should expect from him and the 20-25 goal total for the year. Who knew a goal who could score like that would be so readily discarded

Columbus just needs a complete and total overhaul from top to bottom. Nash needs to be traded so he isn't stuck there.

We need to make a move to get us on par with San Jose. Albeit we were extremely close to making history last playoffs in coming back from a 0-3 deficit I think then and now that our main problem is team defense plain and simple. Our team d was fantastic in 08 when we won the Cup. How to fix that? I'm not really sure. Another one of our struggles is timely scoring as LeftWinger and others point out, Franzen and others need to step up Ans score the big goal. But if this team continues to do this we need to make a trade. I'd listen to offers for Franzen but I highly doubt anyone will want that contract.

Is the Nash talk just anLGW rumor or is there any legit talks about this? Nash is a star who just screams change of scenery. Problem is what would Columbus want and they're in our division

i remember when the Wings won the cup in 08 and he was on ESPN doing an interview with Steve Levy where Levy was talking about how great Zetterberg and Datsyuk are and Don said how "they are alright" and Levy was just like "come on, they just won the Stanley cup!" and Don really wouldn't have any of it. Billick is an old wingbag who annoyed me during the entire Lions broadcast, although I do agree that Suh isn't a very classy player. You just don't speak your entire mind every chance you get like Brett Hull who had a short-lived job during intermissions for NBC. Just gotta use some tact. As for the Rupp celebration, I don't think he would ever mock the military but clearly to Jagr who has been doing it since he's been in the NHL. No disrespect
