the article makes some fair points about Ritola seemingly looking like a more long term investment (signing a 3 year extension) but he may survive going thru waivers w/o being picked up. Miller deserves to be on the team more than Ritola.

very happy to see bertuzzi resign with the wings @ just under 2 million a year. As much as i like the guy and what he brings im not expecting him to have any more of a mean streak in him than what he had last year. The guy just isnt going to play like the power forward he used to, and thats okay. if he can score 20-25 goals thats an awesome signing and i think its not too unrealistic to expect for Bertuzzi after a good year last year.

i cant tolerate Byfuglien, Kane, Sharp, or Toews. As much as i absolutely hate chris pronger and Carcillo i'd rather see them win. Go ville!

i think bertuzzi is good for between 20-25 goals (yes, he was a bit under w/ 18 this year). why do people just want to throw that away like he's a scrub? I dont understand

Jokinen seems like a real gamble. the last few years he's been a journeyman and is no longer a youngster looking to break out (he's 31) and save a few seasons, seems to be very inconsistent and has next to no playoff experience.

that's what im afraid of. even though the wings won in a blow-out the refs were still crap.
