as for draper being offside all of the time: he did it ten years ago and if he could play ten years from now he'd be offside all of the time then. It is what it is with him. he's a grinder at the last part of his career im not looking for him to put up 50 points or anything like that just to play his role.

you know normally i would think it silly to just randomly put Ozzie in but what the heck, what do we have to lose? Howard overall has let in too many goals. but with Ozzie there's a different element to fear : the early 1st period soft goal against.

good last three years, wings. two stanley cup finals in a row, one win. and in 07 we took it to the conference finals. you wont go deep every year. looking forward to the off-season and Holland and co dumping williams and hopefully resigning Miller and Eaves. i also hope Lidstrom and maltby come back for another year.

all i want if/when the wings get eliminated is for someone other than pittsburgh to be in the conference final/win the cup.

this team doesn't deserve to come back after blowing a two goal lead. san jose is just too good and our team just isnt cutting it right now.

it all depends, my friend. the wings have had a long time off in prior years and come out flat. maybe they'll continue the good play. kinda like a winning streak during the regular season perhaps? just go with the flow and keep playing.

i'm usually not on the original six bandwagon simply because most of the people who say an Original Six stanley cup final would be great for hockey are the only people who care about the original six... i mean i was born in 1989, the original six doesn't really apply to me even though i love the tradition and staple of an NHL franchise in those communities. but in this case, a conference final like that would be awesome since there are actual rivalries in those two cases.

the canucks scare me. they can fight. they can play physical. they can certainly score, and luongo is gonna pan out for them eventually right?

stuart fits our system perfectly. and his role. when the wings ran into injuries you could tell the guy was gassed. our defense as a whole is getting better and better. loveee seeing stuart throw the body.
