draper should outlast all of the former Jets : D goodbye to Tkachuck; nothing really against him personally. seemed like an ok dude. another childhood hockey memory going to bed- and i feel weird. i remember being between 7-10 and me and my friends trying to trade hockey cards and us making fun of his name.

sadly, penguins in 5
-
ill be flipping between this game and the flyers/rags game on versus. go wings, go howard.
-
why would ritola be put on the 2nd line in his rookie year? hahaha
-
wooo yotes win the shootout. what does this mean for the wings? the red wings, predators and kings all now have 98 points. the wings and kings have two more games, nashville has one.
-
kings up 2-0 with 10 minutes left in the 3rd
-
ah they most likely will get 5th then. so that leaves the wings in 6th against the canucks. id probably rather see what the wings can do against the coyotes but PHX/LA play tonight, so i guess im rooting for the coyotes tonight to better the wings' chances of facing them in the play-offs

i just wonder if the consensus to sit williams and play abdelkader is this overwhelming for Babcockand co. if there is one criticism i have with babcock is his seemly unrelenting obsession with having a right handed forward on the 2nd PP unit. that scares me to think that maybe williams wont be sat during the playoffs...

i'll be so depressed if they drop this one. thinking about going down to the joe possibly...

in my eyes no one plays like Holmstrom. and i think we all should see that, in terms of what he does and how he does it, no one is his replacement. not cleary, not franzen. Homer is quite special.

why is that?

Pierre LeBrun thinks it's either DET or VAN from the West

capitals, penguins... no? -
two things draper promises in nearly every game he plays: (1) he will almost certainly pin someone against the boards and (2) if the opportunity rises, he will take a slapshot from a face off dot

up through the olympics i really wondered if the wings had it in them to even reach the play-offs. im so glad they went on this tear, and hope it continues through the play-offs. nothing would be sweeter than to knock out chicago two years in a row (then to go onto win the cup again!)

when is sammy coming back for the nucks? -
draper deserves to be playing in the play-offs. why would babcock sit a guy through the playoffs who has played all year? only on LGW.
-
ville leino is that you?
-
i dont understand why people are hating on cleary. He's been fighting injury ALL year long and isn't all that far off from his usual production as far as points. He looked good today with a goal in front of the net and had a great drive to the net soon after that rang off the post. He's versatility, finishes all of his checks, and can give you 20 goals a season. It could be a whole lot worse. Cleary is a solid player through and through

this isn't april fools related, but didn't zetterberg move to plymouth on the same street as Chris Osgood recently?
-
that's what i was thinking earlier. the wings have a 0% chance at catching the blackhawks? sure, it's awfully unlikely after the hawks W tonight, but were the guys at yahoo sports just grabbing numbers out of the air or what?
-
let's not botch this one guys?
-
the winter classic should be renamed as the Crosby Classic\. some other team will be hand selected between the sausage fest of Crosby, Malkin, and Bettman to have the honor to play the pens
-
not worried about catching the Hawks

as if i needed another reason to absolutely love patrick eaves then tonight happened! LOL! what a brilliant game from the goalies tonight, and Howard made some unbelievable saves, 5 in a row folks. how sweet this all is
